I really like the taste of this mini raspberry fig bar. IF you like "fig newtons", you will probably like these fig bars. To me, the raspberry flavor enhances the fig taste. These mini-size (approx. 2" by 1-1/2") bars are a good choice for when you want a healthier sweet treat (19 g total carb)--not as sweet as cake, but sweet enough. I took a few with me on a recent road trip in case I got hungry between our stops. I'm buying another box to have on hand.
These were fantastic! These were Fig Newtons in raspberry form, taken to the next level! Not only were they healthier than regular Fig Newtons, they were moist, chewy %26 tasted fantastic! I actually had to fight my cat off whenever I opened one, because she like the smell of them so much she would actually try and eat them.
I am thrilled these bars finally come in “mini,” which seem to be one of the usual 2 bars packaged individually. These single-size packages mean I don't save the 2d bar in the package, twist it up, and forget to eat it right away. Eat one bar, eat two, eat more. Not cheap, but the box is big enough to last a while. I keep a box in my office for when I need a quick snack or sometimes, gasp, even for a rushed lunch. It's also a nice snack to share. I wish nutritional content was better, but these are just fig/fruit bars— really more of a treat, not a protein bar or meal replacement. (I would love that version.) Raspberry is my favorite: like real raspberries in a quick, super convenient form. Definitely recommend.
Once a week my husband goes to his sailboat...and these bars are always with him. If we go on a trip, he makes sure these come along. Late at night if he wants a snack, these are always readily available. So happy we discovered them. I do have to admit I'd better not just hand him one mini or he will pout!
I love how these are half the size as the original ones. It makes them a perfect snack for kids because they usually never ended up eating both bars, half gets tucked away for "later" and then i'll find it a week later untouched and then goes in the trash. These singles/mini's are great for my kids class snack. I do think they are a little on the expensive side though when you compare what you are getting to what you would get for the big box at Costco.
I live this product. I could almost live on them they are so good. They are like little meals or good snacks anytime of day. Walmart carries some great products. They arrive at my home on time and thank you for delivering them to my front door. Great service.
My three year old loves these raspberry fig bars. I think they're overpriced for what they are. But anytime I can get her to eat something other than Pb%26j or buttered noodles is a win.
These are a good option for those that need more fiber in their diet. I love that the bars are individually packaged, making them easy to keep in the car or bag for a healthier choice when temptation hits to go through a drive thru on the way home from work.
I disliked the taste of the raspberry mini fig bars. I typically purchase the regular size raspberry bars and those taste fine. I am not sure why these minis taste different, but they do and not in an improved way. Also, the size is smaller, I expected one regular size portion, the whole reason why I bought these is so I wouldn't have one bar left in an opened package. The minis are smaller than just the one bar that comes in the regular 2 bar pack. Additionally, the calorie count shows the same 100 calories for a product that is less in size, which doesn't make sense. I will not buy this product again.
These are not minis! They are just half of the regular size bars. So instead of two bars, you get one and pay a lot more. The packaging and wording is deceiving and inaccurate.
