Been using this for years. I like this more then the elderberry gummies. If your throat is starting to get irritated you can feel the syrup coating it when you swallow. On a trip to Europe is how I found out how good elderberry really is.

There are times where we use it daily like when we notice others around us are unwell or when traveling and spending time in crowded spaces. We also use it when we are feeling unwell . Once a day as an immune boost and up to four times a day for an intensive treatment. I have always purchased the sambucal brand we love the taste. I'm excited to see natures way came out with their own sambucus elderberry syrup as it shows the healing powers that these berries hold are becoming mainstream ! Elderberry not only boost immune system but it's also a powerful antioxidant . I have elderberry plants and also make my own syrup. This is a great edition to pick up quickly when homemade is not available . Great flavor and ingredients aren't the worst especially in a pinch .

It goes fast though when you are giving 4 doses a day. I wish they made the bottle a little bit bigger, but it's a must have in our household. Nature's Way Traditional Immune Syrup is the best quality Elderberry Extract that I have experienced thus far. I received my complimentary bottle right at the height of flu, cold and COVID season. I will not make incredulous claims about this be ing a miracle elixir but I will say that I have remained healthy despite being exposed. A couple teaspoons a day has served me well.

The most we've gotten is the sniffles if we take this as recommended. We have this in our medicine cabinet always as a preventative! This is a must have for every family with kids.

Unfortunately, this syrup is so sweet that there's absolutely no way I could take 4 teaspoons a day. I feel like the fructose used would detract from the health benefits.
