Wow, that's fast.
Insane speed, faster than some of the aftermarket nerf snipers, can hit a wall 30 feet away shooting horizontally, bounce off the wall, and come back and hit your foot. Love this thing. Maybe don't shoot anyone with it unless they have a few layers on, but great for just shooting around the house and little targets.

An actually good nerf blaster
I got the torrent for 11 dollars on sale. You can't beat it for that price. Step one when buying a torrent, throw the nerf darts away. Buy a 100 pack of embers instead. I never used the nerf darts at all. My torrent has never jammed and hits 150 easy. With no scar or bcar it's very accurate. I might do a longer metal barrel but as of right now there is no need for it. I also took out the ratchet, now the prime is smooth. I also replaced the rock hard mag release spring with the spring from the slide trigger lock which I removed. The mags still fit too tight and have to be ripped out with moderate force, but at least the mag release no longer breaks my finger tips off when pushing it.

Packs a punch!
This nerf gun is very powerful. It shoots far but also packs a punch so be careful with little ones playing with this one!

My son loves having nerf wars with his friends and has almost every toy gun walmart offers so when we say this one I was quick to buy. Comes with protective eyeware and I know my boy is going to love opening this at Christmas.

worked just fine out of box. after a few shots, half of shots were half power. i am a nerf modder and i had to open the shell and take out some pieces because the pump prime is disgustingly crunchy, because the prime is a bolt, not a pump. do not buy. however, front loading full darts works well, but too expensive to get for single shooter
