I like that its easy to load. I also like that i can shoot percisly since theres a ámalo guide ontop of the gun. I like the colors the material and it is fun and entertaining.

My 11 year old could hardly wait for me to photograph the item before he was ripping open the packaging! The Nerf Rival Mirage came ready-to-play, he simply had to load it. It is easy to load the blue pellet “accu-rounds” through the top or through the clip. He found the toy to be accurate and estimates it's accurate at about 25 feet. The pellets shoot with some oomph, and would be best for kids 10 and up (the box says 14, that's a little high in his opinion). At the start of summer break, this was an awesome toy to keep him busy for hours…setting up little targets, shooting, re-setting targets, repeat. I would recommend for NERF lovers, this is a fun one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Man. Nerf toys have come a long way. This gun feels good in the hand. It's easy to operate, but also has a haptic feeling. It's got nice 'clicks and pops' when it's cocked and fired. It's also wickedly accurate (for a toy gun). We've been shooting it indoors and out. The bright blue ammunition is easy to find and I feel is much more robust than the normal darts. The projectiles don't hurt, but you can definitely feel them. I love the clip and the multiple ammo capacity. Really great toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kiddos loved this and I barely got a picture before they had tore it open and started a nerf war! All of my boys (14, 12, and 5) used this you easily and the little nerf balls don't hurt as much as the darts so that was a win!

A great blaster for people who were late for the Rival hype. The performance is what you would expect from the Rival line (a little better when compared to its predecessors). I'd rate it higher, if it were not for the fact that I had some initial problems firing it the first few times. A little tricky to fix, but fortunately the jamming lever works like a charm. Not a blaster I'd recommend for younger demographics, due to it hitting harder than the darts are (stock, that is, I know how the modification community can take a spring blaster to perform on par with if not better than the Rival line.) With that tangent out of the way, this is the last Rival blaster that Nerf has made, and is the most accessible blaster on the resale market, or just buying it new. If you're new to Rival, I'd recommend it, if not, its probably something you can go without.
