During a rough spring storm season, we suspect our system had some electrical issues. We were immediately able to replace with this unit. It was just what we needed and has been reliable and kept at top speed. This is a top product and worth the investment.
Fast internet and better than having to rent from internet provider!
This is our second nexgear modem. I would highly recommend to have a good surge protector for it because ours was hit by lightning. That is why we had to get a new one.
This modem does run much faster than my old one and the latency is much lower..and my old one was'nt that old.It also works much better with Xfinity.So far I am very happy with it.

I have always heard that Netgear nighthawk modems were really good, however this modem is refusing to give me any upload speed and is constantly rebooting. I don't know if it is the nature of the beast, or if I have received a defective modem. Not very happy with the product, and hoping Walmart can make it good.
