I know Wifi 7 and the 6 mhz band are not supported, but I needed a router and did not want one that would be outdated too quickly. I also have a fiber connection to my home and my house was wired when it was being built. This router supports the higher WAN/LAN speeds and my switchs have be upgraded, too. This was a significant speed improvement when I am on the internet. The available phone app made setup a breeze.

Hexagonal shaped mini-tower, about the size of a liter size thermal liquids bottle used by athletes. No ugly external antennas, yet the WiFi coverage in our 2 story home is better. We no longer need a WiFi extender. All of the router 'dashboard' lights are on the front panel while all wired connections are located on the rear panel. This unit supports 3 WiFi carrier frequencies (2.4MHz, 5.0MHz, 6.0MHz) and the smart router can automatically assign these carriers to to all of our home's WiFi devices (cell phones, TVs, thermostat, security system, kitchen appliances, etc.) as are most suitable for a robust connection.

Replacing old Netgear Router. This one had great specs and surpassed my old one. we have 5 people with PCs and devices. So needed something that could handle all of them. This was a perfect replacement. could tell a major difference as soon as we were able to get on.

Router was very easy to install, it is working much better than my old one which was dropping devices and not playing amazon Music without issues. I wish I would have gotten this sooner. Ordered in the morning, delivered in the afternoon and was using it that evening. Also it was 16% less than what Amazon was selling it for

If you have thick fingers like I do, you'll not appreciate having to use the iddy biddy keyboard on the smart phone to set up. Make certain you have a list of applicable passwords handy for all that you will be connecting to the router. Once you get by the quirky set up, you'll find that the router is POWERFUL. I', 72 years old and I'm hoping....and praying this will be my last router install.

The Netgear BE9300 router works well. Set up is a little confusing, but was able to work through it. Took about an hour to get it installed and running correctly. The one big issue I found was Netgear Armor. After some online research, it turns our that Netgear Armor is not compatible with running bitdefender on a PC. Even though Netgear Armor is a bitdefender product, Netgear Armor is NOT compatible with the bitdefender product that runs on a PC. My Windows wireless drivers crashed and I had to reload them. Caused me to do some research to find this issue. I strongly recommend disabling Netgear Armor if you buy this product. Other than this issue, the router is fast, uses my full Spectrum 500 M down and has good coverage across my home. Also, from everything I have read, this product (BE9300) and the Netgear RS 300 are the identical product. No need to pay more for the RS 300!

The installation for Nighthawk products have always had issues and required calling. While other products installations are fairly straight forward, I have never been able to install nighthawk without calling. The app never installs without issues. Now that it's installed, I understand what others are saying about constant connection issues. Today, it shows my devices connected but all my devices show no internet, except the PC which is directly connected to the modem via cable. So, I know for sure it's the router. Unfortunately, it only had a 30 day return and I'm at around 45 days. Hopefully, I have some time left under the Netgear warranty. My past experience is that Netgear warranties are about 90 days, then they start to charge for service. I vowed not to have Netgear products again and should have stuck to that.

I've had multiple routers through out the years and have had good luck with Netgear. Unfortunately this one does not live up to the hype of past products. Do not expect to get even close to the distances they advertise. My house is 1204 sq ft and I can not get a decent signal on the far side from my router. I replaced a cheap Nokia expecting better signal and range but actually got neither. Granted I pay for 1gbps fiber optic internet and have upgraded all my cables to Cat 5e or 6. I was expecting faster speeds but I can not get over 170mpbs on WiFi. About 650-700mbps wired. Both less than my cheap Nokia. Save your money and look for another brand those new antennas do not work nearly as well as advertised. I had better performance with a $55 router. Do yourself a favor and look for something else. Easy set up though, sub par performance for over $200..

Received defective product. Installation was harder than past Netgear routers, which should have been a sign something was wrong. Supposed to have three bands- 2.4Ghz, 5Ghz, and 6Ghz. Only 5Ghz worked. Throttled my 1 Gig internet connection down to 4mbps ( You read that right-ONE GIGABYTE down to FOUR MEGABYTES) with no way to control it. Very disappointed with Netgear's quality on this one. Had to return for refund. The return process with Walmart was a breeze, though. A few clicks online, print off a barcode, and drop it off at the store. Easy peasy.
