Neutrogena Hydro Boost Lip Oil, Light Pink, .2 fl oz

Neutrogena has come a long way! You can use this lip-oil over other lipstick, light in color. Fantastic shine and your lips feel great...healthy. I don't see a major plumping, but all in all, I still love it. I have the light pink, and the mocha (my fave). It gives you a natural shiny tint. You don't need to use much either. 🙂👍

This is great! I love that it can fit in my purse. The color is also fantastic. It's sheer but has a little depth to it that works when you don't want to wear a heavy lipstick. It also isn't sticky. I got it in mocha but will be ordering it in pink as well.

I had never tried lip oil previous to this. I love this lip oil! It's so good that I won't need to try another brand. It applies easily and is not sticky or gloopy. I use it by itself or carry it in my purse as a touch up to-re-hydrate my super-long wearing lipcolor (think Revlon Color Stay Overtime 16 Hour or Cover Girl Outlast All Day). It doesn't pull that type of long-wear color off at all. Will re-purchase for sure! Price is a bit high, but all makeup has sadly gone up in price :(

One of my favorite products. This lip oil is light and doesn’t feel heavy or caked on your lips. I always have them scattered around my house, workplace, vehicle, and of course my purse.

Super hydrating, resulting in soft lips

This style of gloss is trending. It glides on easily. It has high shine that lasts a while. The best benefit is the suppleness of my lips after the shine dulls down.

The color is very sheer and doesn't look at all like the bottle once it's on. It does look okay for about an hour, but the light color fades quickly without even eating or drinking anything. Also the tint did kind of collect in my lip lines and bleed out around the edges of my lips. Felt hydrating, but too expensive for a product that is basically just vaseline. Also very sticky, like a typical lip gloss. No plumping aspect at all.

In my experience, Neutrogena products are a hit or miss. This one is not it for me. If you're like me and can't use lip glosses because they dry your lips, I don't recommend this product, it's a waste of money. I had high hopes for it because it's supposed to be an oil and contain hyaluronic acid but it feels and acts like a cheap lip gloss - while it makes my lips glossy, it's very sticky and extremely dries my lips. Attached is a picture of my lips after only a half day of wear, without the lip oil on them to better show the painful patches of broken skin. So far the only "glossy" product which hasn't dried my lips is Mac Cremesheen glass but it's not the most budget friendly product.
