New Nintendo 2DS XL System w/ Mario Kart 7 Pre-installed, Black & Turquoise

So much cheaper for the same item than most places and comes with Mario Kart 7 ready to play out of the box. Not the most expensive piece of equipment so it's a bit fragile. Wouldn't recommend for younger kids to be honest... it's a value purchase for an adult gamer, imho. I think a kid might trash it compared to how durable the 2DS model or older GBAs.

My son has the switch and we thought we would try the DS, he likes this one better. He has played it twice as much as the switch.

The product came exactly as it was advertised and in the timely manner expected. Packaging was mint with no physical damage in the slightest to the product. AR cards, instruction manual, and AC charging cable were included with the 2DS XL system, along with a 4 GB microSD card. General setup was easy and to the point. Was able to start playing my library of 3DS games in a short amount of time. Overall, a great product for anyone needing a 3DS/2DS family member (especially now that Nintendo is discontinuing older models) or someone who wants a less expensive, portable system with a huge library of games to choose from.

Fantastic system at a great price when it is available. Plays all DS and 3DS (without 3D support of course) without problems. Great deal when it is available at the $99 price point. As it is being phased out, expect reatilers to start dumping game invnetory soon as well. Highly recommend screen protectors for upper and lower screens. Due tothe design the grey nubs can stick to the upper screen leaving behind weird marks that can be cleaned. Stocks seem to be drying up and only Walmart officially has this bundle at the $99 MSRP Nintendo lists. Adivce is to regualrly check in on the Walmart listing like sniping an eBay auction. Eventually you might luck out.

You cant beat this deal! I bought it because they are supposed to stop making them this year sometime. The XL is a lot better for holding than the regular 3Ds. This is lighter than older 3dsXLs. I found that I never used the 3D functions on my old one and I dont miss them on this 2DS. That is the only thing this 2DS XL is missing.

My grandson is very happy with this so of course I'm happy too.

I purchased this because I have a regular 3ds which has not worked out too well for me. The 3D function is a bit too much for my eyes so I keep it off. I have big hands and it just feels awkward. The 2ds xl on the other hand is ideal. The button configuration, the positioning of the cameras and speakers as well as the much larger screens are a plus. Add to that a memory card, AC adapter and a pre-installed game, you got a winning combination. Those are the pros. The cons for me are the size of the stylus and the positioning of the POWER button. 3 times the unit shut down mid-game because my pinky hit the POWER button. To fix that I ordered ergonomic hand grips! Overall the 2DS XL is a winner in my book.

Actually really love the system. Finally replaced the 3dsxl my son lost in 2016. It's more lightweight and the screen seems more crisp even though it has no 3d slider. Then only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the sound quality, you can barely hear anything, headphones or computer speakers are a must. Wish they would have included bluetooth for connecting to soundbars. Shipping was great and on time though.
