Newair 18 inch Outdoor Misting Fan, Indoor & Outdoor Oscillating Pedestal Fan

The Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan is the perfect solution to stay cool in the heat. I don't know who likes it better- the kids or adults! I do know that the neighbors are all jealous and want it for their yards too. My favorite feature is the ability to use at as either a regular oscillating fan or a misting fan. The fan has three different speeds and not only does it keep us cool, but it also keeps the mosquitoes away with the breeze. It easily covers the entire area of our outdoor patio. The mister conveniently attaches to a garden hose- no messy water tanks to deal with. And I really appreciated the ease of set up- from start to finish under 10 minutes. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. It was obvious during set up that the fan is both durable and made from quality materials. The base is sturdy and solid- no worries about tip overs. Overall, I give this a double thumbs up. It used to be you would only find these at parks- so grateful to now have access at home!

My sister who lives next door got one and I fell in love with it; then I got one, and then my brother came over and they ordered one! I am out working in the yard so much, and I used to spray my hose straight up in the air to cool off....now OMG what a game changer I just stand in front of my amazing misting fan!! Also my kids and dogs go crazy for it. We entertain on the deck all summer and now no one complains about the heat. Best purchase we ever made.

This misting fan is AMAZING! We've used it several times already & all of our family & friends that have seen it can't wait to get one of their own. Easy to set up. Can be used with/without the fan when misting & can also use the fan without the mister. Works really well at cooling the area. We're considering purchasing an additional one for our yard!

We got this during the heat of the Florida summer, and love it! The best seat on our patio is in front of this Frigidaire Misting Fan. Provides anywhere from a fine to a strong mist, depending on your water pressure setting. I have had this fan for about two weeks now am surprised how often I find myself using it. I have used it while sitting on my back deck, while having dinner with the family at our outdoor table and even had it going while I was cutting up a tree in my back yard. Having the three speeds is a big deal because while most of the time the slowest speed is plenty as soon as a little breeze picks up having those higher speeds helps to keep the mist flowing. The other day I actually put it on my deck facing out on the back hard while we were practicing football. With the fan rotating on high and no breeze it did a great job keeping the heat down. At first I thought maybe the price was a little steep but when you think of it like an outdoor air conditioner it is actually very well priced. If I was to nitpick for a con the only thing would be the connection to the base. It tends to lean a very slight bit forward. It's not very noticeable but what's a review without finding something negative. All in all I would highly recommend this fan.

Easy to assemble and easy to enjoy. We LOVE our Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and its dual design. We use the mister on the really hot days and the standard oscillating fan to keep the circulation moving. I would like one for everyone room in the house along with the outdoor patio.

I was given the opportunity to test the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination and it couldn't have come at a better time. We are experiencing a heatwave and hitting temps well above 100. We go outside and enjoy time on our deck a lot and with the heat, it had become nearly impossible. The misting fan instantly lowered the temperature by 20 or more degrees instantly. I was surprised at how much and how far the reach was of the mist. It really made our time more enjoyable out on our deck. We were able to spend more time outside and have the air conditioner on as much in the house. Something else I noticed is our potted plants on the deck also really perked up too. They are really benefitted from the misting they are getting too. The dry heat we get here in California is hard on plants during a heatwave and we usually lose some plants. But looks like we may save most this year. Overall we are loving the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination however I do wish the power cord was longer but I can live with that being the only complaint. If you're looking for a way to cool off this summer then I would recommend the Frigidaire Outdoor Misting Fan and Pedestal Fan Combination.

I am totally in love with this indoor outdoor misting fan especially with the Heatwave that we have right now in Los Angeles this is the best thing ever it has three speeds and it really covers a huge area trust me my living room is humongous and yet so refreshing I also put it on my patio and hook it up to the hose and it makes an amazing Mist so refreshing best thing ever!!! My son love blowing bubbles with it too

Not powerful enough for an outdoor fan. Useless For Texas heat.

The fan is fine, although there any many much cheaper options if it is just being used as a fan. The misting is nice, but if I am within five feet of the fan, I feel more like I'm getting drenched, and the mist only reaches 8 - 10 feet. The big problem is the GFCI. It keeps tripping off even when the fan is used without misting in a dry environment for days at a time. The fan might run for a few seconds or for 30 minutes, but then the GFCI trips. This isn't an occasional problem - it happens constantly.
