Nexcare Tegaderm + Pad Transparent Dressing, 6 in x 6 in

Will only be using silicone bandages and tegaderm from now on for wounds

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After living with an open wound on my side for the last few years after surgery for a bacterial infection, I have been around and around with all the different kinds of wound dressings. Most don't stick (for long at least), none block out moisture and are easily removable without pain or adhesive leftovers on your skin the way Nexcare bandages do. They also keep moisture in and off my clothes as well as out. I was lucky to find them, the store was out of my regular brand, which I wasn't happy with anyways and decided to try them. What a difference, like night and day. A bandage that does what it says, stays put all day and is easily removed with out adhesive buildup on the skin. And they are truly waterproof, I can even shower with it on and it stays put. Thank you very much for your product and I recommend this product to anyone with any wound that needs this type of dressing. I use a strip of the waterproof flexible tape to hold it on because of the area my wound is at...its highly moved around by bending and walking and regular daily acitvities. The two together work wonders. Thank you!

I broke my leg and ankle. I had 4 months with an open wound and home health care taking care of my wound. After that I was on my own. I relied on many Nexcare products to keep my wound clean and help it heal. THANK YOU for how easy your product is to apply and take off. With tender skin that was very important. You helped me heal!!!

I can't stop so I have to patch up and go onto the next task. Tegaderm are the best bandages I have found on the market, and trust me I've tried a lot! The patch stays on until I'm ready to remove and with constantly washing my hands to change tasks, the bandage never comes off by itself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My special needs sister had gallbladder surgery and used the Nexcare Tegaderm+Pad Waterproof Transparent Dressing to protect her post-surgerical incisions from her touching them and protect from being infected. She's allergic to the some bandages and wanted something that was waterproof and covered the incisions to protect from any dirt. These were the answer to our needs. They were gentle and easy to remove and not harsh on her skin at all. She was able to take a shower and didn't have to worry about them coming off. Very happy customer!

I first tried this to cover a wound on the arm that was taking forever to heal. It fits great and stays like it is supposed. It stays in place even through a shower or bath without getting the wound wet allowing for it to remain undisturbed. I then tried this to cover a surgical wound that kept weeping. It would soak through the abd pad. So with this and a 4x4 underneath, I could dress without worrying about the dressing leaking on my clothes while out in public. That is more of a relief than most can imagine. Thanks so much!

Washing my hands at least 100 times daily and cold, dry hands-having cuts were a constant and using the TEGADERM WITH BANDAGE BEING WATERPROOF ALWAYS GAVE ME A HUGE SENSE OF SECURITY KNOWING WASHING WOULDN'T MAKE ME BLEED AND HURT LIKE HECK! THANK YOU SO MUCH! And having these bandages with 2 young girlies with constant boo-boos gives me piece of mind knowing the germies are staying away!!!

The bandage is good, I will start with that. The brand is good and the product is good. It is the store that is receiving the honest review. I CAN NOT BELIEVE Walmart is selling ONE bandage for $10.00 It is utterly ridiculous to charge a customer $10.00 for an oversized band-aid. I only purchased it because my husband recently had surgery and the hospital recommended these. Changing a wound dressing twice a day for a week will cost you $140.00 a week !!!! Or you would be spending over $500.00 a month on bandages. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Four weeks' worth of bandages will cost me about $500.00? I completely AVOID shopping at Walmart unless is my last resort or my only option. When the rest of the options have run out completely. Luckily I can afford and purchase the OVER PRICED bandaids. However,,,,,,,, I don't see how an individual with a fixed income or similar limited income situation could not afford these. "Save Money - Live Better" is no longer the motto of Wal-Mart.

i got the wrong one , do not need the pad , just nee the tegraderm cover .
