Graphics are real good. Game play is also good. Best hockey game on the market. They have patched it since the initial release which I read reviews it might have been hurried. It is a fast paced and customizable game. I was able to edit the rosters and add fantasy players and playing through my first season. Overall worth the price of admission
perfect, thanks~
Im not too big of a hockey fan but this game is really fun and pretty competitive.
Its been a decade since I purchased any NHL based console game - and I have to say this whole experience was rather lower than my expectations anticipated. The graphics are smooth, the gameplay is smoother - everything about the product seems very slick and silky (exactly what you'd expect for a next generation console sports sim). However... something is missing. I can't quite put my finger on what it is - but it's definitely not there. Maybe I'm used to EA's FIFA release every year, which is always laden with new features - but if you just are happy to have a game to play ice hockey on, with very little depth of modes and features - then this is the game for you. But beware that even the limited modes that are available have no depth to them either (which is a bit of a surprise considering you'd think the limited modes would have a LOT of work put into them - but sadly not the case). I would probably be happier paying around about $20 for this game... then I wouldn't have been disappointed.
