Night Owl 8 Channel 1080p Wired DVR, 4 Wired Cameras & 1TB HDD

We updated our system to the night owl and it's the best thing we have ever done. We paid hundreds of dollars for security systems and not one of them has been this clear day and night. I don't like it being wired but we have yet to lose signal. I really love it that it has the up close face features. So so worth the money and more.

I replaced my Defender security camera with this Night Owl system, and I can say it is 100% better in every way. The app buffers sometimes, but it's manageable. The picture quality is a full 1080p. The Facial recognition, and motion works as described. For the price you can't go wrong.

I bought this to replace my THD system when it's Hard Drive failed. Night Owl Marketing was great in providing a compatible system that didn't require that I replace all my old cameras. Simply unplugged the old and plugged in the new using the same connections.

Bought this system to replace a prior night owl system. I didn't have to rerun wires the new cameras plugged right into the existing cables and then the dvr was plug and play as well. Still working on getting familiar with the new system but so far so good I'm happy with it. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because I'm still getting familiar with the system.

We have owned the night our security system for several years, we are on our third system. The last system that finally wore out this week we purchased in 2017 and utilized The night owl HD app. I utilize an old tablet as a monitor in my work area so that I can see when I have deliveries. The tablet is mounted and displayed my four primary cameras throughout the day uninterrupted. It is too far from the system itself to use a cable to have the normal monitoring. This app is absolutely useless for a constant monitoring. It shuts down right at the most inapt time and then takes forever going through all the steps to get it back up and running again. Basically this app is made my system useless for my every day use and is making me reconsider night owls system.

had these since last year of February and was working good til now. evey now and then one of the cameras wasnt getting signal even with internet wifi working and now idk if the DVR has gone bad or the cameras cause cameras havent been damaged at all. cables work fine. idk what the problem is but how do i find out if i have warranty and can get them replaced. or hos to repair or solved the problem cause they still new dont know why they going out now

Good price but you get what you pay for. beware the app sucks. Out of no where, your app won't let you see your cameras on your phone. It'll say inactive. You have to change your password and reset it back to factory settings to view on your mobile device. third time having to do this in one month time. The cameras connected to monitor works good and no issues. Cameras are ok, I thought 1080 was better that what I got. I would not recommend this at all. go with Arlo brand.

Set-up was easy. Just didn't like I couldn't get the camera to angle how I needed it to. Kept getting a sideway view. Other than having wires everywhere and the camera not getting the right angel. The cameras were ok. Probably will look into something different.

bought to add some extra security to my home. however the DVR did not work properly. cameras did work I tested them out apart and worked fine. however the DVR was the main issue. tried to get customer service to assist online but no luck threw the chat and no number to call!

Not a single app or product works like it should, and tech support is a joke. I have two dvr systems and neither of them works correctly. After days figuring things out on my own I have no working apps and a pc program that does nothing. Tech support ,IF you can get hold of them, just keeps saying I'm doing something wrong when their program wont even open. Then after degrading me the non english speaking jerk started cussing me and hung up. The product is useless unless your sitting in front of it, which is pointless. Look at the reviews, and note the company does not respond to complaints and you will see how much they dont care once they have your cash.
