Night Owl 8 Channel Bluetooth DVR with 4 Wired 1080p HD Spotlight Cameras with Audio and 1TB Hard Drive

On Black Friday we entered the world of home security cameras. Within a few days our first four cameras were bringing peace of mind. This last purchase was my second order of two more each time. Our NightOwl system of eight and the DVR work day and night to allow us peace of mind. My wife can step to the monitor and see those things that go boom in the night. We both appreciate the quality and features (and the value for our money!

I upgrade my old 8channel 1080p to the 4K... The quality is just like they stated! Vivid & much better, the field of view is wider also. Only negative is thde DVR doesnt have audio in like my old one; I only had one audio camera anyway. So, it was a good trade.

If you looking for a wired security system this one is perfect, you can also choose to record from certain ones

If you had an old night owl system it works with the old wiring the only thing you have to do is change the dvr and cameras. Great camera system It only issue is it's not wireless internet

Installation was super easy since I was upgrading from an older night owl system and used the same wires. DVR interface is really nice. I don't really care for the mobile app. It takes too many steps to get to the live view. Record sensitivity isn't as accurate as my old system did which is disappointing but overall it is satisfactory.

have my unit in the garage. I will need cord extensions for the far side of the house (3 cameras). I have a difficult time adding my wife on her phone via night owl protector app, I have a difficult time retrieving my password to view the dvr from a monitor. Other than that great value and would recommend to anyone

I bought this item/kit, and the first one was DOA (no output signal yo the TV), the replacement one DID come fairly quickly but I was getting a weak output signal from it too as the TV would flash off and on, Customer Experience This booking page is currently unavailable. If it wasn't for the first dvr being faulty, I would have given it 5 stars.

We have owned the night our security system for several years, we are on our third system. The last system that finally wore out this week we purchased in 2017 and utilized The night owl HD app. I utilize an old tablet as a monitor in my work area so that I can see when I have deliveries. The tablet is mounted and displayed my four primary cameras throughout the day uninterrupted. It is too far from the system itself to use a cable to have the normal monitoring. This app is absolutely useless for a constant monitoring. It shuts down right at the most inapt time and then takes forever going through all the steps to get it back up and running again. Basically this app is made my system useless for my every day use and is making me reconsider night owls system.

We have had the security system for 2 years wanted to add 2 more cameras so we ordered and the delivery and product was good. When we tried to hook them up according to directions they would not work so we contacted support and they were awful. I now have 2 cameras that are useless to us

i do NOT have audio enabled on these camera's and night owl support told me that walmart false advertized me. i am also supposed to have a siren on these cameras but tech support cannot help me with this issue either. they made me reset the entire system just for me to pull it all back up and still do not have any sirens that work on any of these camera's. i sat on the phone for hours with technical support for this. the tech sent me a email with a picture on it to show me what my options should be and i do not have the off/smile option at all in my settings. tech support is telling me i AM supposed to have the siren and a voice camand for these cameras and i do NOT have either. i sat on the phone for hours today and i have gotten nowhere. i feel like i made a huge mistake buying these cameras and the biggest mistake was hanging them before i made sure all of this worked. i did not even think to check and make sure the sirens worked before hanging them i only made sure the cameras themselves work. i had a used night owl system before and i definitely should have went with a different system the last one did not last long at all. frustrated is a understatement especially since i paid somebody to install these. if u plan to buy these i wish u the best of luck truly. also there is no wire to hook up 8 cameras when u buy this system only a splitter to hook up 4 cameras. to much wrotten here thats not included with these cameras. i hate writing bad reviews but im super fed up atm.
