REQUIRES BATTERIES. Don't be fooled
Listing never mentions that this trash can requires BATTERIES. It's a foot pedal can, which I specifically looked for, but not the regular type because it won't open when you touch the pedal. It takes 3 huge (C or D?) batteries, which I only discovered after it was delivered. VERY disappointed.

Batteries
I had to return this because it uses batteries to open and nowhere on the site was that mention. I was trying to find something that is not expensive. The price was good the material is good but then you going to spend more money to buy batteries. For me that was not an option.
