This blender has a 1000W motor and it really feels it. It easily crushes ice, frozen berries and hard fruits, and even turns heavy ingredients into a homogeneous mass in seconds. I never had to add water or turn it on again - everything comes out smoothly. The 72 oz (~2.1 I) capacity is great for a family or when making drinks/cocktails for several people at once. The smoothies come out without lumps, creamy and uniform. The 6-blade attachment actually works better than the standard 4-blade attachment - I notice that the texture is always uniform, even if ! put frozen berries + ice + banana at the same time. The dishwasher-safe blades are a huge plus in everyday use. After preparing, I simply disassemble the bowl and lid and put them in the dishwasher - everything is perfectly clean. This blender has been so amazing! I've had this thing for 7 years and it's still going so strong! This blender is a powerhouse! I love that it comes with smaller cups to blend in when you want to make something smaller. I've made smoothies, margaritas, and have chopped things in this blender. It never disappoints! It may not be a fancy model but it gets the job done. I love all of my Ninja products and this one hasn't disappointed. I highly recommend Ninja products, they are durable, powerhouses, and a game changer for your kitchen. This blend is no exception.

I purchased this, so my grandson could enjoy the occasional crushed ice. My treasured Daughter-in-law has come to create and enjoy fruit smoothies, along her travels through post-op cancer months, boosting energy and providing healthy additions to her fruit intake. I'm likely to get one, for myself. The heavy-duty plastic container is a much-preferred alternative to the old style breakable glass ones and this blender has a powerful motor, enabling so many uses w/little effort. After browsing the web for good quality ice crushers, for home use, I believe this blender will be enjoyed, for many years, to come. I also purchased the 2-year product care program and would always recommend that, for any electric/electronic product. It's simply a good investment.

I love making smoothies and blew through two regular blenders within 4 months, so I needed a heavy-duty blender. This Ninja Professional Blender fits the bill perfectly. It's easy to use, chops ice and fruit with no problem and is simple to use. I love this Ninja because it's simple, i.e., it has easy to read and use buttons without all of the nuances of some of the more expensive models. I highly recommend the Ninja Professional if you're looking for a classic, up to date blender that'll power-through ice, fruit and whatever else you throw at it.

I gave this to my daughter for Christmas and she loves it! She now is able to make smoothies all the time to take to work. She says it works very well and is very happy with this brand. Very quick shipper. Item was well packaged for shipping. I would definitely recommend this seller.

The machine works great. The price was great too for what is offered. I believe the reason for such a good price may be the extensive used of plastic. I had a old Oster brand which is not as efficient in performance but will last forever because of the materials used at that time. Never the less why pay more as one can pay enormous prices for some of the blenders out there. I cannot imagine they perform much better. DW

The BL610 is an excellent value for the money. It does not have the auto pulse feature but for less money you can simple perform a manual pulse. It processes ice to the consistency of Hawaiian shave ice and is an ideal margarita machine. Be advised that it cannot compete with a Vitamix or Blendtech for making whole vegetable drinks. It will not completely liquefy the fiber. However, it does make outstanding smoothies. Realizing it's limitations, I believe that it is best in class for the price.

I have to push the ingredients back down in between blending because it doesn't blend everything. fruit or ice will get pushed to top corners and won't even hit the blades.
