Nioxin Scalp + Hair Thickening System 3 Shampoo 10.1 oz

%233 for color treated hair lathers well and doesn’t dry out my hair and scalp as much as %232. My hair does appear thicker but a little dry so I use a leave in conditioner. The smell is not great.

I bought this for my sister. She has thinning hair. She is pleased that its helping her. She usually gets this at a beauty supply for more money. I told her I could get it cheaper at Walmart...and it was.

That’s the only shampoo and conditioner I use. It’s great. Feels good on the scalp.

Help Maintenance for thickness of hair

I used this years ago when my hair was thinning out by clumps. It helps thicken and eventually return to normal, thick hair. Then, after several months of hospital antibiotic treatments, my hair started falling out and thinning again. This time worse. I tried the Minoxadil drops, no change. Then, about 2 weeks ago, I remembered Nioxin. It looks thicker now, hoping my hair will grow back to normal.

I went to dermatologist about two years ago and he said what was wrong with my hair was that I had had too much pain, stress, anxiety, and my hair was growing in Deb, and I asked him what do I do about it because it looked like a wire mop and he said there’s nothing you can do about it and I thought oh you want a bit so I went home went on Google and I googled it. Worry hair by stress and anxiety. It came up with a product called Nixen. It’s a three step product that you get in one box and it’s a whole $27 for them and they last for like 2 1/2 three months You shampoo your hair with their special shampoo and it is the best shampoo I’ve ever used and you rinse it out you go over and you put on the scalp treatment take that on for three minutes then you go and you rinse it out then you take the last step and you put on your hair treatment They have stuff that’ll keep your hair from breaking. They have stuff to make your hair, thicker thin as you want it thank God for Walmart and thank God for Knox the price was unbelievable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is not a bad shampoo. It does not have much of a smell and father's up quite nicely so you dont need to use too much. Instructions ate pretty clear and easy to follow. Not sure about the delaying grey hair claim.as thats going to be pretty hard to to say really as your not going to know if you would have had grey coming in any faster or slower with or with out it.

I bought this hoping it would help with my itchy scalp. It made it much worse. Spent all this $ and have used it 3 times and cannot use it anymore. I'm so disappointed!
