Let me tell you, this sticky rice doesn't disappoint. Growing up eating asian rice, this brand tastes, really good, and has a great texture. Be sure to wash the rice several times, and when I say several, I mean several! When the rice is clean, you will know it because it is no longer cloudy, you will see clear water. This can take many minutes of your time, but it will be way less starchy and have a better taste as well as the texture will not be gummy. Also, please store your rice in a cool area, preferably in a refrigerator or freezer. This keeps the rice bugs out! You're welcome! lol

The price is kind of high, but me and my husband were looking to eat cleaner and we found this rice. We are from deep south Louisiana and are particular of the rice we eat. This one is a good substitute for what we used to buy in the past without all the additives.

This is the rice that my electric rice cooker recommended. It is more expensive than some other brands, but for us it is worth it. We eat a lot of rice, and it always cooks up beautifully if you follow the basic instructions. I suggest you try it once in your rice cooker, then adjust the ratio of water to rice to get the consistency your family enjoys. One of the best perks for us was a recipe for Fantasy Cabbage Rolls on the side of the package. It is made in a frying pan on the stove top, so the rice can be used as regular rice, not just with a rice cooker. We loved it and have made it a repeat meal in our house.

If you are used to short grain flavorful Japanese rice, this may be not for you. This is more like mid-size grain, with less flavor. But, with the price, it's not bad :)

My favorite rice, and when I found out that Walmart stocked it I was pleasantly surprised. The price is better than the oriental food store I was going to. And I can get it delivered.

Good Japanese sticky rice, I can make Sushi with this rice. Same price as Amazon but WalMart is easy to return to the store if I need to.
