My car would not start one night. Called the road service I have. He jumped the battery with a Noco GB70 Boost HD 2000 AMP portable jump starter. Weighs about 5 lbs. I talked to the tow truck driver about the Noco he told me all the tow truck drivers carry a NOCO they are heavy duty quality. He said they get 30-35 jumps before recharging. This GB70 will start big V8 gas engines and large diesel engines.
I own a Ram 1500 ,it has some LED lights ,an after market audio system , once in awhile I would come in the morning ready to go to work and my battery wouldnt be strong enough to start my truck , I would have to grab my wife’s keys to jump my truck ,Now I bought this for that reason , I ordered this and left my truck sit until it arrived in the mail, I fully charge it put on my truck and it started right up, I love the convenience of not having to look for someone to help , I have had this for a few weeks I’ve have used it 4 times already , once on my truck and and a few neighbors I’ve helped out really I just wanted to see what this could handle , , V8 gas trucks I have had no problem starting them right up ,
We were shown this item by the young man who came to tow our Jeep. We live in the country and the wind chill in our neck of the woods can get to 30-40 below zero. Every winter we have issues with our car batteries losing their charge. This handy little item saved us 149$ on a tow charge. paid for itself in 1 use.
This is the best thing to own. If your ever have a dead battery it’ll get you started. And if it gets you off the side of the road one time it’s paid for itself right there. Tow trucks cost an arm and a leg.
i haven't used the one i got today but it looks nice and sturdy. I got it to put in my car for winter time. it came with enough charge to check it out and with 2 different plugs for the car so if i use it i can recharge it. but hopefully i wont have to use it. But better safe than sorry!!!!
Work great and you can jumpstart several vehicles before you need to recharge the system. Don’t forget to get the storage case that goes with it.
It is.light and very easy to hook it to. the cables my Tahoe would not turn.over as soon as.I put the cables on it. It fired right up I definitely will buy this again
One one the beast things I ever buy. very helpful when you or you friends or even someone you don't know. Worth every dollar. Love it recommend for anyone to buy
Love this product! This is probably the only jump starter anyone will ever need, even jump your friend's big V8 pickup truck if he ever needed one! But folks, can't you make this with a better case other than a sock? I mean really. I had bought a way cheaper, weaker power version of this from another manufacturer and it came with a custom hard case. I would expect something similiar considering the higher price? And I saw other NOCO models that have hard cases that you can buy separate. Whaa? Why piecemeal?
The battery clamps have sharp corners and strong springs which makes them painful to squeeze to get clamped on the battery posts. even using two hands.
