Too early to tell. It's being charged as I type. All I can say is it is sturdy. It's solid, the clamps are strong and heavy. If it is as good as it looks. It will be a dandy. Kinda crazy buying something that you hope you never need. If I ever do though I'm ready. I will give a update if I use it.
I purchased this NOCO jump pack through Walmart because of overnight, free shipping. Still ended up taking 2 days to deliver but this is a great compact jump pack. Small enough to carry in my glove compartment so I know it's always with me. Comes with a charging cable but both ends are C USB so I need to find an adapter to be able to charge it through my truck. Easy to plug jump cables into and seems strong. I used it a couple times already and had to recharge it once since then. I hope I get many years and jump starts from this unit. Comes with a cloth carry bag with a draw string that doesn't seem too sturdy. I may find a hard case to store it in for future.
This jump starter is truly a game changer and my only regret is that I didn't get one sooner. It's top notch as far as build quality/materials, it functions flawlessly (the haters probably need to read the directions and watch the instructional videos online), recharges quickly using a fast charge wall adapter, and is unbeatable for convenience. It'll make you want to ditch those old jumper cables when you see what this small powerhouse can do- just you wait and see. It comes with a fabric bag to store and carry the device, which is fine, but after falling in love with this thing I purchased the optional manufacturer-made rigid carry case for it. Doing that just rounded out what I would consider to be one of the best purchases I have ever made as far as automotive accessories. Highly recommended!
My car battery died during a snow storm. It was dead for about 5 weeks. Surprisingly, after those extremely cold weeks. It started right up. I had to hit the "override" button due to it not detecting the battery. Im glad I invested.
I always carry it on my motorcycle. I have never needed it myself, but I have used it for others many times successfully. I wished it was a bit smaller, but it works. It also serves as a flashlight and charging brick, so it does save space by not having to carry these items separate. NOCO used to have skinnier clamps that worked well on motorcycles. These are a bit wider which is sometimes an issue.
Easy to operate and does what is suppose to do. Small and easy to carry. Great starting power
The delivery happened faster than planned. The Jump Starter works well as expected.
The Cables Are Too Short!
Looks as though I received a 2nd hand unit and charged full price.
Save your time and money and order this item somewhere else besides Walmart. The FIRST time I ordered the NOCO Boost X GBX45 I receive 200 examining gloves in the Walmart box! Chatted with the Walmart AI in customer service trying to get a refund which was a waste of time. I was promised a full refund in 10 days which I haven't received after waiting a month. The SECOND NOCO Boost X GBX45 I ordered and received from Walmart was the wrong NOCO less expensive model with missing pieces in the opened NOCO box. I obviously received what someone had returned it to Walmart to resale. This time I had to make a trip to Walmart to return it. The THIRD one I ordered from Amazon. All is good. Received the correct unopened model. No frustration or lost money.
