Works as advertised. Like the color indication of acids as I wasn’t entirely sure what was what when I doused this stuff on. It became clear quickly though as some portions lit up pink and others did not. Seems to be reasonably priced in my opinion too. Sure beats getting out a cup on water and making soda and scrubbing about like I had been doing for years before finding this stuff.
This was the best product of this type I’ve ever used in my 48 years of driving. This brand was the easiest to directly apply to the battery terminals and had no overspray like I have experienced in the past using other brands.
The disclaimer is scary make sure to wear gloves and a mask and be in a no wind weather outside open space environment.
cleaned terminal very fast.
at $3.16 there arent any dislikes. You can get the same results with other household chemicals but this is much quicker. A can will last a very long time.
This does deactivate the acid and show you where it has all gotten to with it's color changing on contact with the acid (spray your battery tray area after taking the battery out and be surprised). Recommend something other than just dumping water everywhere like isopropyl or brake cleaner to wipe everything up with after applying since they evaporate away fast, leaving everything clean and dry for installing the new battery.
It did a great job at removing the battery corrosion however, the spray nozzle caused the product to come out not in a spray but more as a spurt. The product got all over my hands, fingers and places other than the target. Incredibly messy.
The product worked perfectly, but I was only able to use it once because the product would not come out of the can after the initial use, the product itself worked great but only one use from the can is totally unacceptable.
Messy disgusting stains driveway.
Didn't clean
