Easy Install. Delivery was on time. Noco Genius 2D works flawlessly. Highly recommended for Battery Maintenance.
Charges batteries overnight just fine. Like the small size.
very low cost for a very high-tech item
Works as intended. Good quality for price. Would have liked the cord to be a little longer.
Easy setup. Keeps the battery charged in cold weather here in Maine. My vehicle stays outdoors in the cold overnight weather and this unit has done well.
Installed under the hood in our hybrid car to maintain the battery because the car “sits” for days and the battery would go dead. Seems to work efficiently and easy to see status of the battery. Cord is too short for us to reach a place to “dangle” it for easy access, but it will work just fine.
This charger fit the bill in that you plug it in and in and walk away, charges and maintains a battery (lawn tractor in this case) temperature compensated, IP65 rated. 3year warranty. LED displays what the charger is doing and when it's done. Apparently there have been some water ingress problems with these units (make sure the front display sticker is well burnished in, that's where water can sneak around). Time will tell.
I'm using this smart battery tender on a tractor. I don't want hard starting in the cold from the battery. So far after installing it directly to the battery terminals and plugging it in with an extension cord. No mart hard cold starts.
Came with a mounting clip, strap, and self-tapping screws. Easy to install.
This does NOT work for automotive batteries. Once you open the box, it states that it's only meant for 40 amp hour batteries or less. Automotive batteries have at least 80 amp hours. It will overcharge your battery because it never sees when it's fully charged, and will never maintain, but only overcharge.
