I have too many indoor plants to be fussing around with going to the hardware store every month for another 8qt bag of perlite. Fortunately, we live in a timeline now where I can buy a hilariously humongous bag of perlite from my couch for dirt cheap. I have a 50 pound bag of perlite in my garage, lol. The perlite itself seems to be of a larger grade than most perlite you get from the gardening center, but for my purposes (simply adding drainage to my soil for my indoor plants), this works just fine. The quality seems to be pretty good, too; my plants seem quite happy! I don't know if I'll ever run out of perlite for as long as I live now, but if I do, I'd definitely buy this again!
I needed more than a little bit of perlite for some fruit trees I wanted to plant and this looked like a good deal. It was delivered in good shape and was just what I needed, with leftovers. Medium sized and clean, it was a good buy. I'll get this again if I need more, it's a better deal than the smaller bags.
I use this to make my own potting mix. It's the perfect size for potting mix and is consistent throughout the whole bag with almost no crushed pieces even at the very bottom of the bag. I have gone through 2-4 cubic foot bags of this and both were excellent!
After being impressed with the Vermiculite from this seller, I decided to also get the perlite. Sooo much better than the small bags we get from the big box stores. This should last a while! I will order both my perlite and vermiculite from this seller (at the same time, same order) next time.
The prices of everything have gone up. I used to pay about half of this but that being said, this is the best deal around. One bag is enough for my indoor and patio plants. I will purchase again if I can afford it.
way more than I was expecting. Not a lot of dust, nice size pieces, and no debris like what you by at the store.
This bag was HUGE, didn't know 4cu was humongous. The perlite looks good I put it in everything because for the life of me, I keep over watering "everything " and keep kill everything with root rot.
Nice soil conditioner. Great for drainage and lightening the weight in large pots. My shipment was good quality with distinct 'pearls' and not too dusty.
I thought this would be bigger/coarse grain, but what I received is definitely medium. it seems to have good water capacity, so it will work well for my purpose.
Various sizes of perlite. For the amount you get and the price, I'm not complaining. There is perlite dust in the bag, so always cover your face so you do not inhale the dust. This will last me a long time.
