Nordic Ware Microwave Plastic Pasta Cooker, Red, 12.5" x 4.4" x 5.6", 2 Pieces

I shopped for price and found Walmart had the best price. It was available and it shipped on time and arrived when promised. I have not used it yet but I have never had a problem with Nordic Ware.

I generally do my cooking on a single unit induction burner which makes cooking pasta a bit of a pain due to the time it takes. This simple microwave pasta gadget allows me to quickly and easily cook my pasta in the microwave while using the induction burner to cook other components of the meal. I'm still getting used to adjusting the time of how long to cook it in the microwave as the pasta doesn't need cooked as long if it's noodles being used in stir fry. It's even large enough to cook lasagne noodles. Definitely makes cooking pasta quicker and easier.

This thing is really handy for cooking all types of pasta, and I appreciate that you can use the lid to drain it, that makes the process even easier. It is a little bit too big for my microwave, but still works, it just bumps the sides a bit while turning. Cleaning it after is really simple too. Highly recommended!

It's pretty neat but I could have just done the same thing with a glass bowl in the microwave with a lid on it I didn't need to buy the bougie special item but it's worth it if you're into cooking gadgets.

this was a great item for use in microwave. container does not too hot to handle. cooks perfect..then drains easily using the top...saves time ....a must have item for a quick tasty meal.

I am new to microwaving pasta, but I like any method that saves time and power. I was pleasantly surprised by the results. The container was also very easy to clean for the next time.

Amazing product! I was using a glass dish to try to cook pasta in the microwave, but this works much better and the lid makes draining the water a breeze. The pasta turns out al dente too! I'm getting one for everyone, especially la famiglia!

Overall, the pasta cooker works. The cooker is simple to use and usually takes 10-12 minutes to cook one serving of spaghetti . The measuring tool embedded in the lid is a joke, however. A separate measuring tool is needed. The water fill line could also be enhanced to make it easier to see.

Just be sure your microwave is large enough to accommodate for the rotation of this cooker! It does need room! Also, watch for over flow! The water does have a tendency to bubbly up and leak out the top vents!

It's just a big slab of plastic you put in the microwave. Nothing special about it. You still have to wait, the microwave still isn't quite like boiling in a pan (the flavor and texture). This is overpriced for what it is. It is durable though, so I will give it that. And the lid is good for draining. I just don't see it as anything special for the price.
