These work great. Eggs are cooked perfectly and easy to peel. Don't have to keep watching a pan of water and eggs. It cooks by steam, just poke at hole in bottom of eggs, load in cooker, (are given a cup to measure water and poke eggs) put water in bottom of cooker, turn on, alarm goes off when ready--complete instructions with cooker--cooker is only about 6 inches across--all pieces fit in cooker--great product.
It's the best I can't say how easy it is to boil eggs now instead of boiling them over boiling them or whatever they come out exactly perfect every time this is the best thing I bought this year and cause I eat a lot of salads eat a lot of salad do you want eggs or salads or you want eggs for anything? This is the best
I probably should wait till I cook an omelette to review this, but I am so impressed with the hard boiled eggs that even if the omelette maker is no good I give it a 5 star. I'm doing keto, so I eat at least 4 eggs a day. What made me go ahead and buy this was the review where the lady said that she had never been able to peel an egg as well as she did with this. I had to see for myself. All 7 came out beautiful. Make sure to read the manual so you know how to pick a "good" egg and not get stuck piercing the egg, or burnt with the steam. So far clean- up is a breeze. I'm loving it.
This invention works really guud! I wish it had been invented a long time ago. Here's why it's so cool. Let's imagine that you buy an 18 pk of eggs from the local Walmart, like me. You might leave a few raw ones' out in the sunshine of the hot desert to make sure that they're nice and sulphur smelling, you know- the "rotten egg" smell. Then, when your neighbors' constantly yapping, bark factory of a dog starts up, you'll have plenty of ammo to catapult over to it so it will (Shut the Front Door). The method works, so I've been told. Oh yeah, after the drama with the Miniature Demon Seed, go back inside and cook up the rest of the 18 pk of eggs that are left over with this cuul invention that you've bought. Enjoy! Use a tiny bit less water to avoid the ferrous sulfide around egg yolk. Makes perfect omelet. It is so convenient, whether making hard cooked eggs or omelet, just set, walk away, very AUDIBLE beeper will tell you when it's done. Buy two, to make two omelets at same time. So inexpensive. Use when traveling.
I'm not sure what happened but I used to be able to boil a perfect egg and peel it with no problem. I never knew not being able to properly boil an egg was even a thing until one day I couldn't do it. I purchased this as a white elephant gift and luckily I won it back and tried it out two days ago. And every single egg peeled perfectly. I have only tried the hard boiled egg option so I can't comment on any of the other cooking options.
This is the best egg cooker ever! It's so easy to use. I've tested all the settings; "soft" gives a dippy-yolk, but is tough to peel because you have to be very gentle or you'll pop the yolk, and then it's very messy. The "medium" is a solid yolk, but not fully cooked, easy to peel. The "hard" and "custard" give you fully cooked eggs and also very easy to peel. The directions mention to use the bottom side of the little cup to poke a hole in the top of the egg before cooking, that was a little awkward to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy....I actually test-cooked a few eggs without poking the hole, and the eggs still cooked perfectly. This is an amazing product! Very happy I tried it out!
I love this. so easy! no more boiling water, broken eggs. Just easy. Directions so easy a child could do it. I recommend this highly and will buy again if I had to. 10 stars.
Ummmm…..the directions aren't anything to follow. I put the amount to have a soft boiled egg. Ding rang out notifying me of the time. Cracked it open only to have egg white RUN out. Not even close to being ready. Put the same amount for “soft” boiled eggs in again and came out with medium eggs. Soooo….more water than indicated for soft boiled eggs and certainly more than needed for medium.
Horrible! I used exactly as described and only two times and the metal tray is already BURNT and smells like bad metal. It seems if the item is not properly level it will not cook safely. The “beep sound” when done sound is LOUD and sounds exactly like a Fire Detector. My cats hated it when it went off! It's continues to beep loudly like a fire alarm back to back until you turn the switch to off. Eggs did not pee any better. Overall POOR DESIGN.
