Nordic Ware ProForm Anniversary Bundt Pan with Handles

The old pan I had lost its protective coating. So this is just what i needed.

When the package came, I thought the box was empty because it was so light. The pan is extremely light compared to the pan I was replacing, which is very heavy in comparison. I thought the pan seemed flimsy. I immediately made a Caribbean Rum Cake to try it out. The cake baked up pretty well, and it came out of the pan very nicely. My old pan didn't have handles like this one, which makes taking it out of the oven very easy. Cleaning the pan was also easy. The pan did the job it was expected to do. My old pan was very heavy, but this pan did a good job without the extra weight. The lightness is something I'll have to get used to.

I am not sure how to rate this, because the pan appears to be very cheaply constructed and lightweight. Used one time and the cake was fine, but unsure how long this will last. My current Bundt pan is 40 years old and quite heavy. However, since it was Teflon coated, I thought it best to move into newer and safer non stick coatings.

The pan was very thin and my entire cake stuck on the second bake… a complete waste of my money.

OK, I guess, haven't used it to see how it cooks. I was looking for a heavy weight one like it says, but the metal handles are quite thin metal. That makes me think the whole thing is skimpy and thin. I was also liiking for a non-stick that is not dark in color because my oven cooks hot. It looks from photo that it is not dark, but it is dark coated. I might void the returnability if I check how it cooks, so I will be returning ASAP.

Very light %26 poor quality

the pan is very lightweight and not worth the $ 27 i paid for it. i was expecting a good heavyweight cake pan. This one is not as good as the Dollar General one i paid $6 for. i am very disapointed with it. i had seen a Nordic ware pan at another store. It was a really good pan. it was heavy duty.

Advertisement for this item is not only inaccurate but also deceiving; this is not a heavyweight pan. I thought the box contained something else as judging by the weight it seemed to be empty. The handles are very thin and not well finished, one can get cuts from it as it is sharp. I had Nordic Ware Bundt pans before and they were heavy sturdy, good quality items. This is so thin that I dont want to risk baking in it and having my cakes burn. Definitively returning it. I understand that there have been many changes throughout the years in this product but the version of it I just got delivered really leaves a lot to be desired. I could had gotten a Wilton Bundt pan for less money than what I paid for this. Sorry, but this Nordic Ware product I cant recommend. Sending it back.
