Norpro 2.75" Round Donut / Cookie Cutter - Cut Pastry Biscuit Bagel Dough

I didn't need anyone's review before purchasing this item. My mother used this to make treats for our family all through my childhood. It's wonderful for donuts, cookies and biscuits. I look forward to using it with my grandchildren and creating memories for them. It isn't often you can look at such an inexpensive item and have it bring back floods of happy times. I highly recommend it.

perfect for homemade donuts!!

I got this cutter, because it's just like the one my Mom had! Cuts cleanly—love it!

I had been craving donuts and wanted to make my own at home since I was not feeling comfortable eating out during this pandemic. I had the hardest time with a recipe I found online using yeast trying to simply get the dough to rise. I finally decided to just try to go ahead and make the donuts anyway, but I realized I didn't have a donut hole cutter! I used the batter that I had manipulated to rise to make donut holes instead, but when I fried the donut holes they tasted awful! I almost gave up, but decided to get a donut hole cutter and try all over again. After getting this donut hole cutter I could not believe what was on the back of the packaging. It was a recipe for donuts without yeast being used!! I was shocked and excited! I could finally make my donuts! I did make my donuts and although they didn't taste like a bakery they were delightful for my family and I to enjoy! All thanks to this donut hole cutter, which is what you need in the first place to make donuts!

Item not stainless steel and not dishwasher safe.

I wanted a donut cutter to make regular sized raised donuts so I ordered this. It arrived quickly by mail, only a couple of days. But it is quite small, only two and a half inches in diameter. Came with a recipe for old fashioned cake donuts. But just too small for raised, bakery sized donuts. It has a removable center. This product works for stamping out cookies, but not so much for donuts.

Great biscuit cutter and it was shipped really fast

Well made but you will need to loosen the little screws in order to attach the center hole cutter. Shouldn't be a big deal.

Doesn't work well at all. The center isn't long enough to cut the middle it only crimps it. Even using spray the biscuit stuck to the inside. The center donut hole cutter twists on but you have to loosen the screws so that you can twist it. Then you have to tighten the screws to hold it on place. You will have to loosen the screws again to take it apart to wash it.

This is not for biscuits. It's too small and the package says it's a cookie cutter and no where on the product package does it say it can be used for biscuits and it's real small for donuts too. I returned it and found a real biscuit cutter at bed bath and beyond for less money.
