Norpro Grip-EZ Grab and Lift Tong

bought this for my 12 year old niece to make waffles in a waffle maker...she loves it! I was worried she would have too much trouble pulling out the finished waffles with just a spatula. This is much more of a secure grasp without getting her fingers near the hot griddle. I loved it so much she almost didn't get it with her gift!! haha! I will be ordering one for myself!

Very handy utensil. Great for stocking stuffer.

I bought this to use when taking off waffles off of my waffle maker. It works but would work better if the claw handle was a little longer. I slide the smooth part under the waffle to take it off and then use the claw to hold it while it lifts. But you have to go pretty far under to make it work. But it does work and I still use it for that purpose.

I have a counter top grill and I cook many different items on this grill. This tool is perfect to pick up a variety of foods without scratching the grill surface. The only con is that the tong looks much larger in the photo than in real life. It would have been a better product if it was a bit larger.

i bought these to use with my waffle iron & really think i wasted my money. for starters, they are really, really, small. i think 6 inches at the very most from top to bottom. also, the fork-like side isn't nearly as long as the spatula side, so it doesn't even really grip to lift anything out of the waffle iron anyway. i have tried using it at different angles, & with different foods, & no matter what, it just does not work well at all. the plastic tongs i was using before this worked much better. a few improvements on this would make it a much better product.

It absolutely works but it's smaller than I thought.

Cheap and poorly made. Turns out I can't even return this item to the store. Waste of money.
