Hamilton Beach Belgian Waffle Maker with Removable Non-Stick Grids, Rotating Waffle Iron, Stainless Steel

Waffle make works great. Removable plates are awesome. Please note that it isn't the sturdiest of waffle makers, but for the price, I am happy with the purchase so far. I've used once. Handle is a little wobbly. I prefer to keep the handle bent; I find it's easier to flip.

The box came with holes all over it and had been re-taped up. Plus the booklet inside was not for the waffle maker, but for a breakfast sandwich maker. It obviously had been opened up. It performed OK but I had to guess how long to cook them as I couldn't follow the booklet instructions. I hope Hamilton Beach can send me a booklet for it.

stops working after a few uses. got worse with each use

This had everything I wanted, temperature control, flip over, removable plates to wash. However, it does not get as hot as my previous waffle iron, and doesn't cook the waffles as well and crispy as my former waffle iron (that finally broke after years). I have to leave the waffles in long after the "done" light goes on. If you don't mind soft waffles, it's o.k., but I found it doesn't cook the middle of the waffles as well eather.

I have only had this product a few days and that's why I gave it average for durability..Haven't had it long enough to find out how long it will hold up...Made waffles the first night we had it for dinner and they turned out so good! It is easy to use and easy to clean...love the removable grids! And I love the tray under to catch any drippings!

I purchased this waffle maker because it has removable plates that are dishwasher safe. Have used it a few times and noticed a couple of drawbacks. Its highest temperature setting only produces medium waffles not well done crisp ones. Also, the plates heat unevenly producing waffles that are more done in the back and less done in the front. But for its price, it produces pretty good waffles. I just use a separate timer to get them as done as I like them.

The Hamilton Beach Flip Belgian Waffle Maker makes the perfect waffles. The Grids are divided into four triangle sections and they are about 2 inches thick, depending on how much batter you use. If you overfill the Grids, there is a drip tray to catch any spills, and the tray is also removable. It has 1,2,3 settings and when the desired heat is met, the light will turn green. The Grids can be removed and washed, a great feature. You can use the handle to flip over the Grids to have a more even cook. The frozen waffles does not compare to the real deal.

My quest for the perfect waffle iron is finally over! I've been searching for removable grids for easy cleaning for a long while and this is the one. Makes delicious waffles that don't stick, perfect every time with 1 cup of batter. You only add a little oil on the grids for the first time you use it, seasoning them. I never added any spray oil or liquid oil since on the non-stick surface, even after running the grids through the dishwasher. Lights work great to let you know when it's hot enough to add the batter, flip it, and when ready the other light comes on. Makes them fast and easy for many waffles one after the other for a large family or gathering. The drip tray is great for when you add a little too much batter, and it cleans up with ease. I also like the folding handle for storage in my kitchen cabinet. I've used a recipe for whole wheat waffles, and I've also bought the boxed whole grain waffle mix. Both turned out delicious, so you can't go wrong. The instruction manual doesn't come with any recipes, so have one ready before you pick up your new waffle iron. One last thing, I really like how you can select how dark/crispy you want your waffle, comes in really handy for all the different preferences/requests. I love my Hamilton Beach waffle iron!

This is the 2nd one I've had. The first one worked great. I used it nearly every day for well over a year until it started sticking and cooking unevenly. I have only had this one for a few weeks and the waffles constantly stick and the top and bottom don't cook evenly. Generally a good product, but save your receipt and test early. Luck of the draw I guess, but at the price I will probably try a same replacement

This was everything I had hoped for in a waffle maker. The ready light and the done light really make this easy to operate. It only takes 4 to 5 minutes for the waffle to get done and they are so light and delicious. The removeable grids are a bonus and easy to clean, as is the tray underneath. An excellent product!
