Hamilton Beach 8 Qt Slow Cooker, Stoneware Crock with Removable Pot, Red

Large capacity, great value, well made, not cheap. Free shipping, it's a no brainer. The lid is not glass and that is preferred. Got it to cook 10 pound packages of chicken leg quarters and they all fit. If you need a large crockpot that is well made at an economical price, this is it.

I would recommend but I just have an issue with the handles, seem a little flimsy, and ackward. Should've been sturdier. The lid needs a better handle, it's too small, possibly a U-shaped handle would be better. I like it other than that. It's easy to use and works great, also a good price.

UNBELIEVABLE AND JUST HAD ME IN SHOCK THE FIRST TIME I COOKED IN IT....I REPLACED MY HIGH END SUPER EXPENSIVE CROCKPOT....BECAUSE I FELT THAT IT WAS JUST NOT COOKING RIGHT....SO I SAW THIS CROCKPOT ....AND I WAS THINKING THE PRICE WAS WAY TO LOW AND IT WOULD NOT MEET MY EXPECTATIONS....BOY WAS I WRONG ...THIS IS THE MOST SUPER OUT OF THIS WORLD BEST COOKING GADGET EVER!!!!!.....I CAN GO ON AND ON....BUT LET ME JUST NOTE A FEW THINGS I LIKE. ...FIRST IT DONT HAVE ALL THAT CONFUSING PROGRAMING BUTTONS....ITS A SIMPLE OFF....WARM...LOW....HIGH TURNING BUTTON...AND BOY IS IT ALL YOU NEED.....IT COOKED THE BEST HOMEMADE SEASONED BEANS EVER....I NEVER HAD BEANS SO SOFT AND SUPER EASY TO SMASH ....IT MADE MY FAVORITE BEAN BURRITO WITH RED SAUCE TASTE OUT OF THIS WORLD....IT BRINGS THE FLAVOR MORE INTO ALL THE FOODS...AND BOY THE TASTE IS JUST AMAZING....I AM SO IN LOVE WITH IT...IM BUYING ONE FOR CHRISTMAS FOR MY BEST FRIEND ......FOR THE PRICE BEING SO LOW....DONT LET THAT FOOL YOU FOR A MINUTE....ITS THE BEST CROCKPOT YOU WILL EVER OWN IN YOUR LIFE.....THANKS AGAIN WALMART...FOR NOT ONLY SAVING ME TONS OF MONEY...BUT FOR GIVING ME SUPERB QUALITY AND SUPERB FOOD ......ALSO THE SIZE IS SUPER AWESOME....HOLD SO MUCH...BUT BETTER YET...EVEN STUFFED ALL THE WAY TO FULL...EVERY PIECE OF MEAT AND FOOD AND SPICE...IS COOKED TO PERFECTION....

This 8qt crock is great for large meals and families! Big enough for the roast you may struggle with in smaller versions. Easy to clean. Cooks like you would expect!

Nice size, easy to use. Lightweight, lid is not snug tight and some air escapes, but works great!

This was the second one I've purchased. The first one was amazing, but my daughter dropped the lid and i couldn't find a replacement, so bought another. it works fine, however the knob melted. very disappointing! my only options were refund or replace, so I'm returning for a refund. i wish they would have just replaced the knob!

Item was dented and scratched. Outter material very flimsy, which is why there were so many dents and scratches. Looked cheap. By the time it arrived it looked used. Not made as well as other brands.

shipping time was ok. service was ok. the crock has a spot about 3/4 in in length, on the top lip, hat was black and glazed as it should have been. i dont think it affects functionality but perhaps longevity of the item.
