Best value priced waffle cooker I have used. It is truly non-stick and waffles turn out easy and fast. The ready lite is on by the time I have the mix ready, makes large, thick, and perfect waffles every time. I highly recomend this item. Watch for the steam, when it stops your waffle is ready. Very simple and easy are best features.
The last one, at least 20 years old, just stopped working so we bought this one. It made good waffles the first time out. My wife will have to tweak it to learn which exact settings make the "perfect" waffle, at least for us. The is a great little maker for the price. It will also make the thicker Belgian style if you like.
So happy with my waffle maker, really easy to use, easy to clean (didn’t have a mess), easy to adjust temperature, easy all the way. I purchased because of the positive reviews I read about it and I couldn’t be happier. You may have to try a couple of times to get the whole waffle but the more you try the more you know how much batter to add and what not. I definitely recommend, really happy with my purchase, plus what do you have to loose, is not that expansive at all.
I bought this for my son since he loves almost any frozen brand of waffles. Now instead he makes his own every time he wants one. I recommend this to anyone who loves waffles! Although, be careful adding too much batter or else you'll end up with a nice mess around it.
I use this to cook eggs with. Spray a little bit of olive oil on it and crack a few eggs in it and it works great! You can adjust the temperature/cook time and it will let you know when it's ready! It doesn't drip and the way the dish is designed makes it so whatever you are cooking doesn't end up inside the waffle iron either.
I have had this waffle maker for a couple weeks and have used it several times. It is quick and easy to use and clean. The "Quick Waffle" recipe included in the booklet is my favorite so far, very tasty. It takes a little practice getting used to the timing of how long it takes to cook. I recommend waiting the 4 1/2 to 5 minutes BEFORE opening to peek at it just so it doesn't pull the waffle apart. I also recommend a nonstick spray. It has been a yummy addition to our breakfast (and dinner) options.
We made waffle brownies the first night we got the Oster waffle maker. I used a cup of dry mix with an egg and bit of water. PERFECT! Next we made scrambled eggs. This is now the only way we make them now. Muffins are now waffles. Tater tots - waffles. Spinach, eggs, cheese - waffles. I did make a waffle batter. That was nice, but not nearly as interesting as finding new and different foods to prepare in my waffle make. Other than my Magic Bullet, best buy ever!
I liked the light weight of this waffle maker. The consumer friendly instructions are easy to understand. This is the waffle maker for my husband and me, and I highly recommend you try it out yourself. A few weeks ago I went to get out my seldom used vintage waffle iron to make homemade sourdough waffles. I discovered I no longer had a waffle maker, so settled for pancakes that morning. Even though I am in my mid-60’s, and downsizing, I decided to buy a new waffle maker, and I am very glad I did. This Oster waffle maker doesn’t take up much room, is lightweight, and makes delicious, fluffy waffles that are easy to remove with my wooden tongs. Look at the attached picture of the light, fluffy, scrumptious Belgian Sourdough waffles I made for my 65th birthday. They melted in my mouth. Clean up was a breeze, I just lightly wiped off the grids and let them air dry. The grids are fixed, not removable, but that wasn’t an issue. Instructions said to gently clean, and preseason the grids before use, which was quick and easy. At the fair price point, ease of use, and delicious waffles it produces, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Oster waffle maker for your own use, or for a gift. You deserve hot, fresh, light, fluffy, delicious waffles.
This waffle iron makes the best and tastiest waffles. My 18 year old daughter even thought the waffles were better tasting with this iron versus our mini waffle maker. I like that it has a dial so you can choose your desired color and crispiness. It also cooks fast. No more waiting 5-6 min for a single waffle, it cooks them in about half the time. If you're looking for a waffle maker that's good and cheap, then get this! You won't be disappointed. I use it daily and love it!
a fine waffle maker. the temp control is nice. There are two negatives. #1. the plats are not removable for cleaning. #2. it is a Belgian waffle maker [ i prefer the regular waffles] we tried a few different recipes and they cook up very nicely. i remember the old tried and true secret [hee hee] to waffle cooking. just watch it and ignore time or any beep alarms, you watch the steam - when it stops steaming. the waffle is ready to eat. if the smell changes from pleasant waffle cooking - then it is no longer steam - it is smoke and this waffle is extra crispy and it is time to step out the door and feed the birds. birds, birds, birds come n get it. :)
