Norpro Heavy Duty Adjustable Cheese Slicer, 5"L x 5"W x 0.75"H, Gray

This thing is awesome! When I was growing up with my family having at least two of them. It always worked like a charm. And you can easily adjust the round part to make the slices bigger or thinner. In some instances, you can also slice genuine salami, or other meats. So long as they're not hard. For adjusting the round part, they are being held in place by two screws. One on each side. All you have to do is slightly unscrew each screw, then move the round roller to the desired width, and then retighten the screws. It takes a flat head screw driver. Whenever it is time to replace the wire, there are these two little tiny screws holding it in place that you have to undo to be able to replace it. This came in the mail at a good time. It also comes with one extra wire in case you accidentally break the first one or you wear it out. And it is a nice solid Metal. Though it did not come with directions on how to replace the wire or on how to adjust the round roller . Hope my previous sentences would help. I am planning on getting another one ^-^

The product is very well made with just enough weight in the handle to keep it from moving around in your hand. It has an adjustable wire which lets you determine the wideth of the cheese to cut. Very easy to clean.

Seems heavy duty and good quality. I like that it also came with a spare wire, but I don't think I'll need it anytime soon. It's easy to adjust and can cut thin slice. Nice!

This is the first cheese slicer that does not break after a couple weeks. The quality is well worth the cost. The thickness slice is adjustable. The cutting wire does not come loose like most cutters. The materials are durable. It is sturdy. And it is made in Taiwan, not China. Delivery is fast and protected. It is constructed for professional type durability.

This is the best cheese slicer I ever had. Heavy, solid chrome with a replacement wire included--easily change with an eye-glass screw-driver. The bronze adjusting screws can be tightly secured because the slot in them is wide enough for a dime or the back of a butter knife. All at a great price.

Great product! I purchased this cheese slicer because it best resembled the one my Mom has had my whole life (and I'm 50 years old) until recently that is because we can't seem to find it--think it mistakenly got thrown out. This one seems a little heavier than the one she lost but it will withstand slicing a lot of cheese which is good because we from Wisconsin where we consume a lot of cheese! Also really like the adjustable thickness feature of the device.

I am a Walmart associate and this cheese cutter works great. the only drawback is the wheel on. it is so big you can't cut a thick piece out of a cheese block without removing the wheel. so if you're looking for a cheese cutter to cut thick chunks of cheese, then you will need to take the wheel out in order to do that.

handy and useful

It came early, it held up to a good-sized block of cheese. My only disappointment was that the sleeve the slicer came in said there was an extra wire. There wasn't. Otherwise it's great.
