None better for the price
We love this. It's the least expensive of which many are MUCH MUCH more, yet it performs perfectly. Has good recipes with it. Note that the dent on the top lip of the metal canister is NOT a flaw (We returned on thinking it was). It keeps the lid in place.

Easy to use
I purchased this as a summer activity for my nephews children. It is so easy to use the eight and ten year olds ( with the junket mix) are in charge of making the ice cream for the crew

I love making icecream. and for the $$, this is it. You can make up to 4qrts at a time. Most cost 3x more and you are lucky to get a Pint. And my grandchildren enjoy it.

Just average
Have an older model and the dasher stripped out. The older model had a bigger motor, thus turning well and making great ice-cream. We used it a LOT. When the dasher stripped out, we purchased this new one and the ice cream doesn't harden as well. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Loved it while it lasted(wasn't that long). Literally only used about 2-3 times and it started overheating

App Malfunction
Every time I tap the ice cream maker, the Walmart app takes me to the popcorn maker. The app will not let me initiate the return process because it keeps taking me to the popcorn maker.
