This particular source of Medium Chain Triglycerides is a great source of the desired ones. I have done a little research on the subject and the correct ones that will benefit ones health the most. And do not be fooled, this is not over priced coconut oil, as someone uneducated tried to tell me. If you are looking to spend this much money, I am sure you already know that this product is high quality, excellent MCT oil. It is also created from an organic source. And the taste and smell is barely discernible. So it blends well in smoothies, or whatever you choose. When you choose Nutiva Organic MCT oil, you can feel good about putting something wholesome in your body. If you are looking to use it for satiety, it will certainly do the trick, I was not hungry for many hours, all while nourishing my brain and body.
MCT Oil is an odorless and flavorless medium chain fatty acid, this oil is mostly used when doing a low carb diet, like the ketogenic diet. What I have learned about MCT oil is that it helps you produce more ketones when your body enters ketosis and for this helps you burn more fat, apparently medium chain fats are easier to digest than the long chain fats which need a longer process to digest and ends up being stored as fat in your body. So, if you are making a low carb diet, MCT oil will help you to actually produce more energy, and this means you are burning more fat because when you are in ketosis your body gets the energy from fat. The production of ketones also helps you curb your appetite, now if you are planning to take this oil make sure you follow your diet otherwise this will not help you at all. this oil is organic which is great, no flavor and no odor so you can mix it almost with anything and you won't notice it is there, put it on your salad, coffee, protein shake or yogurt, my favorite is on my yogurt but I have been taking it on the morning by itself because I've been doing a fast, is it a thin consistency oil so it is very easy to swallow. Always read the labels, inform yourself, there are really good videos out there with all the info. Yes, i will recommend this oil to anyone because it has many benefits if you are doing a low carb diet. And besides being good quality 1% of the sales are going to sustainable agriculture.
I love Nutiva MCT oil for several reasons: For one thing, I trust Nutiva and know it's processed as stated. It's very healthy and organic., It's tasteless so I can use it in all kinds of salads, coffee, shakes, any in any recipe calling for oil. I try to always keep it on hand!
I've tested and used several different MCT product for my manufacturing business, Nutiva's is hands down the best MCT on the market. And whats more, their customer service team is superb. Couldn't recommend this product or Nutiva as a company more highly
I begin my mornings with a fresh-ground caffeinated coffee, one which always contains a tablespoon of MCT Oil (an excellent additive which not only provides an energy boost to start the day, but also enhances those first, satisfying sips of my latest select coffee beans). I also add MCT Oil to my second cup of decaffeinated coffee, again for the enhancement of the taste of fresh-ground coffee beans. (During the afternoon, I use MCT Powder (Vanilla and Regular) for an energy boost from my Nutiva plant-protein smoothies (chocolate and vanilla, for variety.) Try MCT Oil in your coffee, it's good!

Love this oil. I'm a massage therapist, and having a good quality oil is important. I was having problems with raw organic oil clogging my drains, so this was the perfect solution, and it's easier to wash out of the sheets, causing less greasiness.
slowly i have been researching how to do KETO this product came up on the radar for bulletproof coffee when fasting in the morning. so luckily I was given the opportunity to try it. i will say i didnt have any heavy cream so my trial was not part of the keto plan but i put in 1.5 tablespoons of the oil and mixed in coffee with some creamer just to give it a go. i will say it looks weird since there is oil in the coffee. but taste wise i only tasted the coffee. tried it before ibadded creamer too and after. it did not alter the taste at all. one thing in my research it says this can give you the runs until your body gets adjusted to it so try it on the weekend or your day off. another thing is your lips feel oily not entirely bad but kinda weird. another adjustment to note.
I’d imagine if you work from home this would be okay. This isn’t cooking oil. This is the stuff you put in your coffee to burn fat. It’s extremely upsetting to the stomach and will give you watery diarrhea and bad stomach cramps. Whether or not you get used to the product over time or actually lose weight, I don’t know. But as a bartender I have zero time for that. It doesn’t have any taste, the oil isn’t off putting, and up until the gastric pyrotechnics it’s pretty pleasant actually. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it for anyone with a busy lifestyle.
I guess the MCT oil is good, but after it's open, the oil simply becomes an ongoing pain in finding its way to the outside of the container. One would think that someone -- or some company committed to quality like Nutiva -- would design a bottle that wouldn't to so prone to excess dripping and making a general mess once it's open. I guess everyone has this problem, so maybe it can't be solved as easily as one would think. IN any case, it certainly limits my interest in this MCT bottle that otherwise serves my purpose.
