Nothing is going to taste as good as sugar but this is a really good substitute that isn't as unhealthy so it is what I've been successfully using since cutting sugar out of my diet. It's more affordable when you buy bigger amounts which I usually do after trying it.
Best alternative sweetener out there. No after taste. Recommended by Dr Gundry Gut health doctor. Doesn't spike blood sugar levels. Just have to use an extra teaspoon than you would normally use for sugar but tastes the same as sugar. Highly recommend for taste and your health.
I love this jar of allulose. I leave it at work and use it there. The screw top lid makes it easy to use and keeps the allulose where it needs to be (in the jar and not all over due to a bag.) Tastes great. I highly recommend it.
I'm diabetic and am trying to cut back on sugar, unfortunately, my own personal tastes, nothing tastes like sugar, or has that sweetness to me, but I have tried to substitute at least 1/2 the normal amount of sugar I would use with this less harmful replacement.
Use this in my coffee every day. I love the clean sweet taste and how easily it dissolves. No aftertaste - that's a HUGE factor for me. I can't use any other ‘artificial' or ‘natural' sweeteners except this one and regular granular sugar because all the others have a weird aftertaste. Note: While it tastes sweet on its own, it's not 1/1 to regular granulated sugar as it's slightly less sweet. For example I need 2 - 3 tsp of allulose for my coffee instead of 1-2 of regular sugar. Not a big deal for me but could be to someone using it on a larger scale for baking, etc. Overall I'm very pleased with this product.
Best tasting sugar dupe yet!! NO chemical or artificial after taste. It's not as sweet as sugar, just use more. I mix it half and half with sugar for a helpful improvement. HELPS WITH BLOOD SUGAR. Eventually will delete the sugar all together. Love that it is in a container, not bag. MUCH easier to use!
Allulose is best used to sweeten cold or dairy items. It imparts no detectable sweetness to coffee, and I would assume this would also be true for most baked goods. This brand tastes exactly the same as other brands. This is a smaller container than the 4 pound sack, so no, it is not as affordable per pound, but it isn't priced out of expected range, either. I can recommend.
Maybe this product is good for someone but it's not what I expected. I purchased it because some doctor recommended Allulose sweetener for me but I think this is not the best brand to choose. Will try another brand and see how it works. If you're okay with the taste you can buy it but I found another brand with the best value and price. "Micro ingredients" brand has 3 lb per bag just for 26,99 $. Nutricost has just 1 lb for 15 $. Not good.
It just does'nt taste good in my coffee. I was happy with erythritol but then the "influencers" said erythritol is bad for us and everyone jumped on the allulose bandwagon. BUT wait! Soon, after get everyone buying allulose they'll announce a new study like they did with erythritol and intoduce a new sweetener and everyone will jump on the band wagon and stop allulose and buy the new fave. It's also too expensive for the amount you get. They're just making money off us fools.
I take one Splenda in a large cup of coffee. Three tablespoons of this stuff wasn't sweet at all. And it's expensive. AND if you use too much (which you have to because it's not sweet at all) you get diarrhea. How do you sell a sweetener that's not sweet?
