Bought this product as a food additive for my chickens. I have one the has been routinely soft shell. Have bought everything under the sun recommended to boost calcium, none has worked. This supplement did, I added it to scrambled eggs and in their water.
I am using this for my dog in her homemade kidney friendly food which I make for her. It is just as described and came very quickly with no problems whatsoever. The price is very reasonable and just as advertised there is no taste to it, because if there was, she wouldn't eat it. Very happy with my purchase and will most likely order again and recommend.
This is used for my dogs who eat raw and. it's working well.
Others brand I bought are better!
Absolutely love this calcium supplement. I have early onset osteoporosis due to being sent into surgical menopause in my mid 30s. My doctor advised me to take calcium carbonate daily as part of my ongoing care. So, I decided to try the powder form as it's extremely affordable and would be easy to get down. I mix the calcium in with my morning protein shake and you'd never know it was there. Very pleased.
I read this product helps with acid reflux, and it certainly does. I got relief from the first dose, and basically take it as needed now I do not like taking omeprozole as it has side effects so this product is a godsend. It is tasteless and mixes quickly in water. I also mix it in my homemade tooth powder and it seems to work great that way too for the health of my teeth at age 74.
I got this to buffer coffee, sauce, etc. A small pinch is all it takes. Unlike some other brands of powdered Calcium Carbonate I've tried, this one was very clean and had no off taste or aroma. It also comes in a good quality container that screws shut. The powder is fine enough to mix well and is not gritty. Like any calcium carbonate, it does not readily dissolve in cold water. If you are using this to treat acute heartburn, briskly stir a teaspoon into water, milk, etc. and drink it very quickly before the powder settles. You can add a drop of rose water or orange blossom water for additional relief.
I have a dog with kidney issues and so we add this to her food to reduce phosphorus. It seems to be working as her phosphorus levels have dropped and she seems happier and healthier.
My son has to have this daily via Gtube. This particular batch did not dissolve enough and was very chalky. Had to order the previously ordered one to supplement.
I don't like it. wish I found pills. It is what it says however, so if you can stand drinking a glass of water with the powder in it you will be fine.
