Spring Valley Valerian Root Capsules, 500 mg, 100 Count

Was bored, read somewhere it can cause nightmares, and thought, why not? I could use a good horror story in my sleep. Yeah. This was one of the bad nightmares. The kind that sticks with you. I stopped using it after that. Five stars though, because it delivered exactly what I read about. Do your research before trying this one.

Was using melatonin which helps. This brand of valerian root has helped me. I've used valerian root in the past and I decided to try this one. Tried others more expensive and wasn't working so I switched to melatonin. Got these to try and I am very pleased with the results. These are both calming for anxiety and to help relax differently than melatonin or other brands of the valerian.

One of my customers told me, valerian root helps her sleep. So, I tried it. The recommended dose is 2 pills, I tried one pill, after an hour I didn't feel sleepy. So, I took another one, and I feel asleep. I've been taking them for a week, it seems to help me fall asleep. What I do like about the vitamin, it didn't make me groggy the next day.

the price is RIGHT. the product is excellent. need a sleep aid? don't want to go weird with chemicals? valerian is straight from nature and will see you right on a full night's sleep with no side effects. you cannot go wrong with this product! and no one can beat this price!!!

i have always had a hard time falling asleep. My mind continuously keeps going when I lay down. I stumbled upon Valerian Root and I gave it a try. It works wonders for me. its soothing to my mind and i can fall asleep and stay asleep.

this is the best way to fall asleep take it a half an hour before you want to fall asleep then you are out like a light! before I bought these I had terrible trouble sleeping because I have heart trouble but now I sleep all night they are wonderful!

Works well for relaxation without sedation. I can take 2 during the day without needing a nap or worrying about a foggy head. Not all Valarian brands can make that claim.

Didn't really care for it, i purchased it for sleep but didn't help withmy sleep at all even with recommend dosage. Someone else it might work great but for me it didn't do anything.

I have bad insomnia and over the past 5 years, I have tried a bunch of different prescriptions, over the counter meds and supplements but they either didn't really help me get to sleep or stay asleep more than an hour or so - or they'd give me the sleepy hangover for the next day or two. A friend gave me a bottle of basic's Valerian root complex to try and to my surprise, they worked perfectly! I was able to get to sleep and stay asleep about an hour after taking them and I didn't have the dreaded sleepy hangover the next day! They came from Kroger's, but I don't shop there and Walmart doesn't carry the basic's brand so I tried this brand instead. Unfortunately, these did absolutely nothing for me. Various nights I tried doubling then tripling the recommended dosage to equal the same mg of the valerian root extract in basic's dosage but I still didn't feel any effect from them at all. These are an absolute a waste of time and money! I returned them and will be trying a couple different higher rated brands from Amazon and if they don't give me as much success as the basic's brand, I'll just have to start making periodic trips to Kroger's to get them instead. I would give zero stars if I could because these are completely worthless!

This is mostly rice hull. It tastes sweet, and anyone who has ever taken Valerian knows what it tastes like, horrible. Two pills were not effective because of the filler. Order the real root from Amazon and skip this waste of money scam. Shame on this company.
