This product will NOT help you lose weight. I take it to reduce the edema in my lower legs and ankles due to cardiac problems. This diuretic does the job nicely. It is also the most sensibly priced of all preparations I have ever taken for this difficulty. It is not necessary for me to take it each day. On days when I am confined to complete bed rest, the edema is not present. Walmart did a great job of sending this to me in record time, and I did not ask them to do so. Packaged well, and it does the job for me. I hesitated in writing a review because I am not in a position to diagnose or treat any ailment. Please know that I offer my own experience and do not prescribe this product to anyone else. "Uva ursi" is synonymous with "bearberry" as advertised on other labels, so don't be confused as to "Which of these is better for me?" Walmart's service for online ordering is just really great.

Uva Ursi is one of those perfect herbs in my book. It helps to lessen inflammation in the urinary tract, to help the flow of urine out as a diuretic and to remove the bad bacteria which causes these issues. This is a good product and the capsules slide down easily. At 450 mgs, equivalent to 4500 mgs in an extract, this is powerful enough to do the job without being overwhelming in any way. It gently works its way into the system to relieve these symptoms of UTI and keeps everything clean and in perfect working order. Will purchase again.

Nutricost Uva Ursi was delivered fast. I ordered it when I had UTI. I was amazed how soon it arrived. I continued taking Uva Ursi once day after UTI was cleared. I took it with other supplements such as cranberry, horse tail and corn silk.

This is great to have on hand if there is a slight sign of a UTI brewing. I just take it for a couple of days and all goes back to normal really quickly. You don't want to take too much or too long, so you might not need this big of a bottle. I'm glad it's gluten free and vegan. It's good that supplement manufacturers are catching on to that. It matters.

I took this for a length of 7 days. You cannot take this longer than that because it can be toxic. However it did help my symptoms of uti. I was looking for an alternative because I'm constantly taking antibiotics for reocurring chronic utis. I just started getting them this year and I'm only 30 so yeah I'm dying. Anyways- took this in combo with d mannose cranberry juice probiotics and etc helped, but my symptoms came right back on the 6 day so I discontinued used after that I didn't make it to the 7 day. I would say this is good to prevent. And possibly in first sign of symptoms but not to treat. If you have chronic reocurring uti and have questions maybe I can help. I've had urinary issues for years. Doctors have done all sorts of tests and still can't figure out what's wrong with me. I was hoping these pills would help with the pain but they didn't make a difference. I wanted to try a natural way to fix my issue before doing a bladder instillation or a dilation of the urethra, which were the options my doctor gave me.
