NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Wonder Stick, Light 0.28 oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 2nd Wonder Stick! I love it and it makes my contour amazing, so much so, I no longer wear foundation. The contour is natural and dramatic all at the same time. Never going back to those expensive pallettes.. NEVER!

I did a lot of research before buying this and thought I'd give it a shot. I'm a noob and I like the idea of the colors being all in one. I got the lightest color because I'm very pale, and when it arrived, the colors didn't seem like they would be right for me but when I actually tried it and blended it, it looked amazing, better than the powder contours I had tried from Sephora. The product is so creamy that it left my face looking dewy and fresh and my blush and highlighter glided on perfectly afterward. I have combination skin and exfoliate regularly and I recommend exfoliating before using this if you have any dry skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The products I purchased were exactly what I was looking for. They blend in very well with your skin and do not really smear. They last you almost all day. Also the product does no leave a oily finish.

I brought this not too long ago it's awe I'm a beginner at contouring and with this stick it's so easy! And it blends very well ! And I have really dry acne prone skin and I had no breakouts and you couldn't even notice my dry skin

I have tan, olive skin of an Eastern Asian girl or Hawaiian girl and got the universal wonder stick and it works great. The dark is not too dramatic and can be built upon, the highlight, while shimmery, is not overwhelming and looks great under light. It doesn't last long without a good primer however, and also remember to set it with some translucent powder.

This was my first cream contour abd highlight product so i don't have anything to compare it to. Im super pale and got the lightest one. I really like the contour color but the highlight could've been a little lighter. But again I'm really pale so I need something practically white to make a good highlight lol. Very good consistency. Can go back and layer without it looking weird or messing up the first layer of contour. Blends great. I use a random mini stipplong blush to blend it and it works great. Overall Im pretty happy with my first cream contour and highlight!

I have light, normal skin and I chose the Universal shade. It is a very subtle contour with slightly more noticeable highlights. I like to use the darker shade as more of a base that I go over with a bronzing powder. The product is creamy and blends well. It's not as long wearing as I'd like and needs to be touched up mid day.

I do like the stick. The shades are perfect. My only complaint is that the light portion of the stick is a bit oily/greasy. Its not bad, its definitely manageable. But the dark portion is more mat then the light portion, by mat I mean not oily or wet looking. And I don't mean that the light portion is shimmery or catching the light better, its oily/greasy. That's the best way to describe it. Overall I really like the Wonder Stick. But that's my one complaint.

I don't know why I expected anything different. There is no love for us darkskin girls. I bought the wonderstick in deep after reading some positive reviews. It's a great quality product and the highlight is fine but if you're darkskinned ranging from Gabrielle Union to Lupita Nyongo I wouldn't necessarily buy it. I ended up having to mix the contour with a dark matte eyeshadow (only thing I could find) to make it work. As you can see from the photo below my nose is not contoured very well and also I do not wear any foundation or any type of powder so that may also have an effect. I can only imagine my disappointment if I had decided to buy the universal shades. My question is universal for whom? Everyone is not light or fair skinned. The deep contour should be darker ....

I purchased the universal wonder stick, I was stoked to get it b/c it had been sold out for months. I chose the universal wonder stick because I wasn't sure if deep would be too dark and medium would be too light. Universal, was not what I thought it was going to be. I based my face and then tried to apply it. It may have been because I used my Bobbi Brown foundation and then tried to contour, what ever the case the high light part would barely show, and it had this weird shimmer stuff in it. It also felt as if it wouldn't stick to my foundation. So I tried my luck at the contouring side. The contouring side was the same shade as my skin may be a shade lighter. So it didn't do its job to contour my face. I am african american woman, but I'm fair skinned. This product just did not work for me, it wasn't so "universal".
