DECENT CLAMPS FOR THE MONEY
These clamps seem perfect as you don't have to drill holes in your oars, the downside is the bottom bolt is short and if you lock it tight they won't function as it should, I purchased locking nuts and a longer bolt and this should fix the problem, as you can tighten it with the locking nut without restricting the movement needed. Overall pretty good product for the money

Clamps are well made, but the nut on the bottom bolt should be a locking nut with a nylon insert. As currently designed, if you tighten the bottom nut too much, it restricts the movement of the oarlock and if you don't tighten it enough, you risk it falling off during rowing.

Heavy duty materal
I read some reviews on these oar locks from other customers having a little problem of losing the nuts on the clamps when rowing on the water. what I did was to replace the nuts with ( lockout nuts ), have no problems at all anymore, they work great! Before buying read the reviews first, they do help. "Happy customer"

Not quite right
When you order these oar locks, pick up 1/2" and 9/16" lock nuts. If your oar is 1 1/2" diameter find a different 1/2" bolt that doesn't have a 5/8" shank. Other than a little modification, not bad for the price.

Online description does not match the product
Online description does not match the product. Maximum shaft diameter in reality is only 1 3/4 in. Online description promises 2 1/8 in. At least for my purpose the 3/8 in. difference is essential. T
