OBD2 Scanner Autel AL319 Code Reader and Eraser, Enhanced Check Reset Engine Fault Code, Live Data, Freeze Frame

Arrived very quickly, I used it to diagnose the problems on my vehicle Nissan Maxima. It showed two codes. One for a bad camshaft position sensor and one for a misfire on cylinder 3. I replaced the sensor and the #3 cylinder coil pack. Car runs great now. Very easy to handle it.Nice

I purchased this scanner because one of my friends had one I had used. I use it on test drives to see the readiness monitors complete. I work on cars for a living and this tool is low cost but has a lot going for it. It will not fix a car but will help you know when it is fixed. I think for the price, it is a great deal.

This scanner is a good value for what I paid for it, it scans emissions diagnostic codes on your cars engine, and clears the codes after problems have been fixed, it also gives you pertinent info on your tranny and more.

Very useful tool shows exact codes, and when car is ready for emissions testing.

This tool is excellent, beyond the bare minimum, and reasonably priced. Very easy to figure out after playing with it for a short bit, and easy to use thereafter. It worked fine with three cars (a C6 Corvette Z06, an Acura MDX and a Miata). It read their VIN correctly and returned real time data. I can attest that it can pick the OBD error codes and reset the engine light. In fact, the error code for the one car which had one was a proprietary one, and the tool knew it and asked me. Once I identified the car as a Chevy in their pull down menu, it knew what it was (P1482, Cooling Fan Speed Output Circuit) without me having to look it up online. The code was definitely correct. The fan was not turning on and the car started to run hot. Knowing where to look a bit of internet research led me to a connector starting to go bad. I fixed it myself today in 10 minutes and saved a trip to the repair shop. Good thing, because that connector is not sold separately by GM anymore, and the dealer shop would likely want to replace the whole fan assembly: $600 retail. Although I'm up and running, I ordered an aftermarket replacement in case this connector eventually falls apart. In summary, I feel the Autel OBD paid for itself already.
