I love these craisins! They barely taste any different than the full sugar version, although calories and sugar are much lower. I eat these on salads, and in yogurt or açai bowls. They added a delicious sweet flavor! I've been buying this bulk bag for a while, and this was my first time getting it from Walmart. This is a cheaper price than I found anywhere else! Will definitely be buying again.
This item is a good snack to have on the go or when you're making your own trail mix or granola bars as well as to be added to silence so it is a ingredient that is versatile has a chewiness to it and great flavor cranberries is one of my favorite snacks to add to my trail mix.
I bought these often. I use them in place of raisins to give a different flavor. I like them in cookies, but I use them most often in a salad. They're not sweet and have a chewy texture and not overly tart. I would've preferred if they had a little more tartness to them, but they are good.
I was expecting something a little less sweet and more tart rather than artificially sweetened fruit. They're not horrible but I really don't like the weird sweetness profile of artificial sweeteners, I find they also leave a strange chemical aftertaste. These cranberries taste sad :(
I eat this everyday and in the past year or two have noticed they changed their nutrition information twice now. I can't keep up with tracking my macros with you guys constantly changing your stuff. The macros are even worse now. More carbs, more sugar. And they taste a little bland now. At least put on the packaging that you changed your recipe again or something. Stop misleading people.
I purchased the 50% less sugar cranberries with the assumption that less sugarfmeansc they'd be less sweet. They tasted funny, chemically. Who would think that they contained sucralose- especially when it's touted on the bag that there are no artificial flavors or preservatives. But you use a chlorinated artificial sweetener. That is so deceptive! And reading through these reviews, you've been doing it for years. The rest of my 20oz bag is going in the trash
Love Craisins but wanted an option with less sugar. Thought this was it but then noticed substitute sugars. Pease just offer Craisins with less sugar. Not every Craisin lover wants an overly sweet product. Let's move back toward natural flavor and healthier products, not worse-for-you substitutes.
Just finding out that sucralose is in this and will not buy again. I like many realize the number of articles talking about the problem of sucralose and glucose management. 50% less sugar should not mean adding sucralose. It also contributes to headaches because sucralose screws up the glucose management of the body. If I could give a negative star I would do so.
While i did not find the taste of the product "horrible" like so many other reviewers, i was very disappointed and felt tricked to discover there was artificial sweetener used. This is something i avoid in all products, and i wish i had looked more carefully at the ingredients. But trusted that "less sugar" was really less sugar and not added artificial sugar. I will not purchase this again, but i will continue to buy the Original Craisins, which we have been enjoying for years. I would like to suggest that Ocean Spray try producing a Craisin with significantly less sugar without an artificial sweetener. I think many of your loyal customers would give that a try even if it meant a bit more of a puckery taste.
Silly me to assume that 50% less sugar didn't mean it was replaced with artificial sweeteners and other ingredients. Had I not read the tiny ingredient panel on the back, I would have had no idea the sucralose was even in there. The claim on the website of no artificial flavors or preservatives throws people off, too. I thought I was buying reduced sugar sweetened dried cranberries, not artificial sweeteners and 13 grams of soluble fiber. Thank you for all the stomach aches and bathroom time.
