Sunsweet, Amazin, Pitted Prunes, 24, oz

While I personally am not a big fan of prunes, my mother has developed a strong fondness for Sunsweet Amazin' Pitted Prunes. She is so enthusiastic about them that she specifically seeks out the bagged variety, preferring them over the canned options often found in grocery stores.

I had to buy these prunes because I was very constipated from some medication I had taken. I remembered my grandmother used to eat these sometimes. So I was desperate and bought these to see if they helped. It took a few times to get used to the taste. They did work for me and I was relieved.

I only reorder items I have tried before and liked. That is why my order says NO-SUBSTITUTIONS! Only items that have a sub in the count...but never a sub in the product, do I ever do. It is not worth my time or trouble to get a new product I may not like! THANK YOU!

Prunes are delicious, plump, moist, and good fiber. The ole saying: "An apple a day keeps the doctor away," but I say "Four (4) prunes a day keeps one regulated and the doctor away." You will not need any counter laxatives - just eat healthy prunes. Good for your health!

Had not had prunes since I was a little kid and I didn't like them because my mother said they were healthy and so I decided they tasted bad. I saw some ads for prunes on TV and decided to see if I liked them now. Yum Yum. Not only are they healthy they are one of the best sweet treats I have had in a long time. Sweet - great texture - wonderful surprise.

I'm on medication that turns my intestines into concrete. IYKYK. So after trying to pick a healthy solution I ended up a daily prune eater. 6 each day is the recommended 'dose' so I eat a lot of these. The packaging is great and keeps them from drying out (remember when prunes came in cardboard boxes?). The size, moisture, flavor is consistent from bag to bag. Never any surprises, just a nice healthy, portable, fruit snack.

My husband can eat these by the handful. Sunsweet brand prunes are consistently soft and deicious. - I recommend using these instead of sugar in muffins and cakes. - Nutritious treats for kids begging for candy after school - Great for adding to DIY trail mix - cut them in quarters instead of hard raisins. - Put a few, along with cheese and crackers into school lunches.

Sunsweet has the perfect California prunes. Very very rare to find pit fragment ... just right texture, moisture and flavor. Read package, I think Best prunes are from California. Sunsweet does use prunes from other countries...and will say so on package.. when they do.

These are so tasty and juicy and sweet. And they stay that way until the bag is finished as long as you seal it properly. They're delicious chopped up into hot oatmeal. Great to have around when you can't get to the store to buy fresh fruit. A healthy snack and sweet pick-me-up.

It's a personal preference, nothing wrong with the product, and I ordered it in the bag instead of the cardboard round because people had shipping issues. Its just the prunes are very soft as a whole. I prefer fruit with a texture and chew, these are not them. If you need softer foods this is a great choice, the 3 stars is for my personal preference, the prunes themselves are perfect and I have encountered no pits or shards as many people mentioned with the great value brand. Sunsweet is top tier and these are a decent value.
