Great Value Sweetened Dried Cranberries, 24 oz

I don't think you can get unsweetened cranberries outside of fresh ones right off the farm. These were additionally coated in sunflower oil, possibly to preserve color and keep them from sticking to each other. They taste like cranberries, slightly tart and interchangeable in almost any recipe calling for raisins or other dried fruit. I'd toss some into my oatmeal, add them to cookies or bread recipes for a bit of brightness and flavor, or mix them into peanut butter for energy bites. Value wise, a good choice compared to the smaller sized national brands, they are every bit as flavorful and much more affordable. I recommend transferring to a sealable container once opened, zip lock closures are often difficult to maintain

This is a wonderful addition to my salads but also delicious as a snack. I love these for baking too. The cranberries are quite a healthy addition to my medicine routine, also, providing benefits that cranberry juice alone misses. I wouldn't want to be without these in my cupboard.

These cranberries are a pantry staple in our house. They go great in salads, baked goods, cookies, and fast and easy snacks for the kids and others. These, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and peanuts, cashews, or mixed nuts are a great game day snack as well. Dad eats them all the time.

I bought this bag of cranberries dried to add to a spinach salad recipe. I had that included feta cheese, toasted almonds, and sliced apples with poppyseed dressing. These cranberries added the perfect texture and sweetness that the salad. Well with.

These are fresh, crisp, and flavorful. Each is plump and I rarely get a shriveled bit in the bag. I love these in my salads, with pork roast, and even in my egg salad.

Like having this on hand to mix with pecans or walnuts. It makes a great, light mid-afternoon snack. I like this brand better because its less sticky.

Good value I always keep a bag in the fridge, easy to grab. a handful to throw in tossed salads, tuna fish,muffins and pancakes for extra healthy sweetness.

The cost of dog food has gone crazy. So, I now make my own with human grade food. And, these cranberries provide similar benefits to dogs as they do for humans. They (my dogs) will not eat them alone, so I hide them in their food. Therefore, I cannot make statements about taste, etc. since I do not like fruit, generally. I haven't tried them. The price of this brand is much more reasonable than other offerings without sacrificing quality.

Not likely to re-purchase because many of the cranberries were chopped up into pieces. They might be good for homemade juice because about a third of them are already ground up. I will see if they will be good for juice. They are good if you want tiny pieces of cranberry for sprinkling on yogurt or salads and the like, but I bought them for snacking.

I've had these before, and they were delicious. They were a great snack. However, this bag tastes terrible. It tastes like it's old and stale. I was disappointed with this bag. They may have been in the warehouse for too long.
