Great Value Deluxe Cashews, 30 oz

Our household indulges in a high protein life style. Great value whole cashews 30 OZ in container with twist top keeps the container sealed tip and cashews stay fresh. The cashews always have a little pop when you eat them, it's weird but that's how I know when their fresh. We purchase cashews for our yogurts, salads, baking, and snacking.

We've been looking for alternatives to some of our favorite salsas (we like 2 Sisters, loved the La Fogata salsa from San Antonio, for example) as the prices have zoomed up there along with prices for just about everything else. But this Cantina salsa is pretty good, and it's a lot less expensive. We're content to use this rather than the more expensive brands that are very similar. The heat level is okay, the taste is good with slight sweetness that doesn't overpower the salsa.

I love munching on nuts with a preference for raw and no salt added. I appreciate the this brand's low level of salt. the crunch, and delicious flavor,- whether eaten as a snack or added to a meal like stir-fry. The container and lid are great for convenient storage. This is my go to when ordering or picking it up at the store.

I buy these cashews with the best intentions. They're supposed to be a healthy snack that lasts for weeks. Somehow, the container is always empty much sooner than expected. 😂 The cashews are fresh, crunchy, and have a great flavor. They're perfect for snacking, adding to recipes, tossing on salads, or grabbing by the handful every time I walk through the kitchen. I appreciate the large container because it keeps them fresh and makes it easy to have a quick protein-packed snack available. The quality has been consistently good, and there are very few broken pieces. The only real problem is portion control. Apparently the serving size and my serving size are two completely different things. 🤣 Great value, great taste, and a staple in our pantry. Just don't expect them to last as long as you think they will. 🌰😂💛 Bonus: I tell myself I'm eating them for the healthy fats. The truth is they're just really good. 😆

you get SO MANY for a GOOD PRICE. i KEEP THE SEAL IN PLACE so it clamps down under the plastic lid to keep them fresh/keep out pests. don't pull the "sticker" thing that seals them off, just open the corner, pour them out. that way when you close the container lid it actually seals tight and doesn't leave a gap. these are 10/10 nuts and the container 10/10

Excellent quality Cashews with just the right amount of salt. Lots of whole pieces, not all smashed up bits so the Deluxe option is worth the extra money in my opinion. They're not greasy or oily and have a fresh smell to them. Great for snacking on or using as toppings for sundae's, bars or cakes. Will continue to buy these at Walmart as they're much more affordable than Planters brand. They don't last long in our house!

The Peanut and Gemstone brand are not better, tastier or fresher..just more expensive. Great to eat by the handful, in stir fry or chicken salad. Frequently on my grocery list and a pantry staple. These are not tiny or cahsew dust. These are large and full of flavor!

Not Bad. Not Great. Just Cashews. Roasted. Salted. Curved like God intended. Great Value cashews do exactly what cashews are supposed to do and ask nothing of you in return. You open the jar, you eat the cashews, you put the jar back. No drama. No assessment period. No indication that your offering was found adequate but only barely. Just cashews. The lid is the issue. I don't know who designed this lid but they have never been tired. They have never had a day. They have never stood in a kitchen at 9pm with diminished hand strength and a spiritual deficit and needed a cashew immediately only to discover that the jar requires both hands, a full grip, and something to prove. I eventually got it open by bracing it against the counter. Endora watched the whole thing. She is a cat. A Russian Blue cat who weighs eight pounds and last Tuesday attacked the neighbor's dog — not because the dog threatened her, but because the dog was in the driveway and Endora had opinions about that — and she sat on the counter watching me lose a war with a plastic lid without a single flicker of recognition that this was pathetic. She knew it was pathetic. She watched anyway. Cashews were excellent once liberated. Three stars. The nut earns five. The lid earns zero. Endora has already forgotten I exist and is staring at the wall again.

At least half of them are small peices instead of whole pieces. Texture and size means alot, especially when making chocolate covered cashews.

Nearly impossible to unscrew the top. Took me five minutes hitting it sideways in the direction of the unscrew with the butt end of a knife to get it to loosen enough to open. I will never buy this again.
