Great Value Sliced Almonds, 16 oz

I was purchasing Fisher sliced almonds, but decided to try this brand and I am glad I did! These are more thinly sliced and always great quality almonds. I was having issues with inconsistency with the fisher nuts, so I am glad I found these. I use them daily on my yogurt and berries! They are delicious!

I put sliced almonds in my oatmeal every morning. These 16 ounce bags from Walmart are the best value I've found. - mix 1/2 cup old fashion oats with 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and 1 cup milk - cook in a 1000 Watt microwave oven at full power for 1 minute and 30 seconds or until milk boils, then continue cooking in microwave at 30% power for 4:30 minutes. Use the multistage cooking feature of the microwave. - Let stand in microwave for 1 minute. - Add 1/3 cup walnut halves, 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, 1 tablespoon chia seeds, and 2 tablespoons of maple syrup. - Stir, then enjoy a balanced and nutritious breakfast.

ten minutes on low heat in a frying pan, stirring occasionally. the taste change by applying heat is AMAZING!!!!! nothing like toasted almonds!!! yum-alicious!!

I absolutely love the taste these almonds. I use them for everything from ice cream toppings to adding them to cooked meals. I even eat them by themselves just as a snack. They are always fresh, they have a nice crisp crunch and they taste wonderful.

This is my first time trying this brand, but it actually is very good. The almonds were fresh and great on my salad and for an afternoon snack.

These slivered almonds are great to put on food or for a snack. I put them on my oatmeal every morning. The value is good for a 16 oz resealable package. I think they're great.

Let me be clear, I very much like the product, have purchased it many times over the years, BUT, What I don't like is the packaging. Did you know that a large percentage of the packaging, on the items I purchase from Wal-Mart, the zip top feature does not close at the top. When you try to align The top together and attempt to close the item to make it air tight, it does not work. I now probably have right now two or three Great Value items that I have to use a close pin to keep the package closed. It has gotten just a little better over the past few years, but my goodness, making this perfect should be a no brainer. I never, never, ever have an issue with any other items from other companies. You are the biggest company of them all and you can not get consistent with the zip top packaging? Someone should loose their job if they can't make the packaging work properly.
