Great Value mixed nuts are simply amazing .The nuts offer high quality flavor without paying a premium price. The nuts are evenly distributed so you can taste all of the different nuts in each bite. These crunchy mixed nuts are packed with 5 grahams of protein per serving.
I buy this for my husband to snack on. He loves that it is lightly salted and with a good variety of nuts… not just peanuts and very few other nuts. It is a good protein source after my husband's walking exercise. In my case, I love that it is affordable.
Wonderful yet economical mixed nuts. No peanuts added. The only ingredients are the nuts, a little oil and sea salt. I shake a little onto yogurt, but mostly we have a little at night while watching tv. I also like adding a little GV Sweetened Dried Berries and Golden Raisins which is a delicious mix of dried cranberries, golden raisins and cherries. A really healthful afternoon snack. Zero cholesterol, low sodium and carbs and good source of protein. Can is just shy of a pound, a Great Value.
Great mix of peanuts. However, there seems to be an excessive amount of almonds, not that I might because I do enjoy almonds, but it doesn't seem like they deserve appropriate ratio, but for the price? It's not that serious.I had a recommend, especially if you're a peanut fan
The first time we got this chicken it was on point and tasted very good. On our second subscription you could taste everything that had been fried in the oil. Walmart charged us correctly- per our order but, we received 2 8 pieces each time instead of 2 16 pieces.
These nuts were pretty good. They list the nuts on the outside of the container, in order, just like ingredients on the back of all other products. LOTS of almonds, next cashews, then teeny pistachios and a few teeny macadamia nuts. Never seen either that small. Then pecans, 2 whole pecans, and perhaps 4 or 5 pieces of pecans. It's a good mix, but I miss the Brazil nuts and hazelnuts. Overall, the price is a bit steep for the number of ounces of nuts. What would be great is if you mixed all these nuts in their RAW state! That way, no salt, no roasting, which takes away a lot of nutrients, and extra handling from the manufacturer. It might help to keep the price down. Yes, the pistachios and macadamia nuts would have to be toasted, but only those.
The nuts were fresh, but they shouldn't be called deluxe nuts. It should be "almonds with other nut pieces." Will just stick to the regular gv mixed nuts. This was a little pricy for so many almonds. Hubby picked out all the other pieces, and there was half a container of only almonds.
The nuts are fresh and tasty and not overly salty. My only complaint is it this mix isn't seems to be at least 70% almonds and cashews. I don't much care for plain salted almonds; I would have preferred if half the almonds were replaced by a high quality, large peanut (like the ones I've eaten in Japanese snacks—best peanuts ever!) There were comparably few pecans, pistachios, and macademia nuts.
My primary complaint about these nuts is that they are two-thirds almonds! They're supposed to be "Deluxe" mixed nuts, showing cashews, pecans, and pistachios along with the almonds. I like almonds, but I like all of those of those other varities more.
Oh wow! I thought what a great price for a big can of deluxe nuts without any peanuts. I poured my servings out on a paper plates, and here's the rough percentage of contents. About 48% whole almonds, 48% whole and pieces of cashews, 2% pecan pieces, 1.5% pistachios, 0.5% teeny-tiny itzy-bitzy pieces of macadamia nuts. If you love just almonds and cashews, this might be a big deal. The few macadamia nut pieces. were smaller than a fourth of my pinky fingernail. Absolutely no Brazil nuts or peanuts to waste the space.
