Ocean's Halo Organic Kimchi, Shelf Stable, 16 oz

II wasn't sure what to expect, but it won me over. It is has a tangy kick that tastes like the real deal. I like that the ingredients don't read like a chemistry set, and the probiotic benefits are a nice bonus. I've been eating it straight out of the jar as a snack, with eggs, and on sandwiches and it has been delicious.

I really love the flavor I love mixing it with everything Good probiotic delicious I just ordered more hopefully they all come and good condition They were not packaged very well and one of the lids was already open like the air came out of it and the packaging didn't have no protection it's glass but the product is absolutely amazing better packaging And it would make this extraordinary

I love this. It doesn't taste like any Kimchi I've ever had or made. So would t call it kimchi but it's more of a spicy pickled cabbage. It is so very good. My first taste, because it didn't taste like Kimchi I was like oh this isn't Kimchi but then I just tasted the amazing flavor. Highly recommend this product. It is very tasty!! Again not going to call it what I know as kimchi but it so very good I will be buying this a lot more. Ate 1/3 of jar when I first opened just now.

I tried a different brand first and it was much much better. This one is good and if I hadn't had the other first would have probably rated it higher. This one is a little cheaper… but made with regular cabbage and doesn't taste like real kimchi to me.

This Kimchi has "Organic Canola Oil" and "Organic cane sugar" in the ingredients. Canola oil Organic or normal is high in Omega-6, not something you want to consume in large quantities, if at all. Im seeing other reviews calling this fake Kimchi because its not using real Korean cabbage, this may be true, but the extra sugar added is also a deal breaker if you are on a low / no sugar diet due to diabetes. Overall it tastes good, however its not as healthy as you would think. Unfortunately I wont be purchasing this brand again.

I've had a few different brands of kimchi. This is my least favorite: It's blander, less sour and has a taste (and smell) I can only described as "funky". It's not the fish sauce. Something else is causing the funky taste/smell. Grown daughter and I both tasted it and we both agree about the taste. Will not buy again or recommend. Box arrived with crush and tear damage. Two jars shattered. Glass shards, kimchi and juice all over, resulting in labels of other jars being destroyed. Couldn't return because I can't get to Walmart and I can't print a shipping label.

The taste of this product is terrible!! It tastes like a watered-down sauerkraut. Now I like sauerkraut, but this doesn't even rise to the quality of a decent sauerkraut. It is truly awful. The color and flavor makes it appear that the spice level is about 1/5 that it should be. Honestly I was surprised at how terrible it was.

It's nasty. If you like Kimchi this is not for you. I have never left a review on an item but it legit tastes like spicy (barely spicy) sauerkraut. Not kimchi. I don't think Walmart should sell this item. It's so bad it's pretty much false advertising

I wanted to like this because I really like kimchi, but didn't. I was expecting kimchi and got sauerkraut with shredded carrots and red pepper flakes, with a splash of vinegar. As I was eating it, I had to remove some of the red pepper flakes because it was too hot and ended up eating sauerkraut with a kick. Very disappointing.

This isn't kimchi. This is sauerkraut that is spicy. it's got that sharp sour taste, the cabbage has tooth resistance, but it's not crunchy. it feels cooked. it's... sauerkrauty. I'll keep it to eat with my sauerkrauty things but it's not.. gonna hit that kimchi craving.
