I bought this because I was going to be working outdoors in the thick woods 8 hours a day for 6 weeks for an archaeology field school. Where I was at, there was a history of ticks, mosquitoes and other biting insects. This stuff was a life saver! I got no mosquito bites! I didn't find ticks either! I applied it every few hours on my skin and clothes. I paid special attention to where the top of my hiking boots met the bottom of my pants and any other possible opening in my clothing. I'm happy to say that yes, I smelled like bug repellent by the end of the day, but I also had no bites! Totally worth it!

I love this bug spray, one it does not have the strong citronella smell. I do not mind the smell but my kids do. Two, it does not give you that grimey "I have bug spray on" feeling. Definitely recommend for kids and people who have sensory issues and do not like the smell or feeling of regular bug spray.

The non greasy feel of this product is the most important reason why I usually buy this spray. Bugs love me and I'm usually the first person to get bitten out of the group, and this spray always help keep the bugs away! The scent is nice and pleasant too.

This spray actually works to repel South florida mosquitoes and doesn't smell too bad at all. It stays on through sweating and keeps repelling after the smell is gone. spray it on putside your house or lonai the mist lingers thickly you dont want to breathe this in.

The results after OFF family care were immediate. I went out to sit on my deck to relax and enjoy the evening, I was bitten right away twice. I went back inside to retrieve my OFF family care insect repellent smooth and dry. I sprayed the repellent on my arms and legs, the results were immediate. I was able to enjoy my evening without any problems of pesky insect bites.

Family care is too mild for Florida mosquitoes. They've formed a union and have infiltrated the suburbs. They use scare tactics, like bites and sucking blood, despite mere mortals, like me, paying for protection. Still better than the other protection services. OFF! Active works much better.

This Off Bug Repellent worked to keep the mosquitoes away and I liked that it was a dry aerosol, but you had to spray a lot to get good coverage. It didn't seem to cover as big as an area of the body as the liquid aerosol does. Also, it had to be held in an upright position or it wouldn't dispense. Last, there was still a good amount left in the can, but it wouldn't spray out. I feel that quite a bit was wasted.

I've used the Family Care Smooth and Dry for many years because my children have sensitive skin and it's always worked best for keeping bugs away without irritating their skin. The last 2 I placed I've gotten OFF Sportsmens Smooth and Dry and it's awful. I tried it the first time i received it and took it back the very next day after my daughter got completely ate up. I may as well have put nothing on her as bad as she was bitten. If the Family Care Smooth and Dry is being replaced with this Sportmens stuff I will never buy this again. If you order this and recieve the Sportsmen's do yourself a favor and take it back. Not sure why I keep getting ghe Sportsmen when I order the Family Care. Is this an issue with the store sending the wrong item or is this now what the Family Care is??

I ordered OFF FAMILYCARE. The item I received was OFF SPORTSMEN. I was not notified of the substitution, nor did I approve the substitution. I had this ordered and had this delivered because of mobility issues; I am unable to go to Walmart to return because of the same mobility issues. Since "return to store" is the only option, I guess I'm stuck with it.
