Weighty and stays sharp. I like the ergonomics. nice slicer and chopper. I used this on raw chicken wings last night and it took the work right out of it. My father in law was impressed so I ordered him one right away. I've given two others as gifts and everyone is impressed.
The blade is nicely sharp and I can slice tomatoes without crushing them. I'm accustomed to a straighter blade, but I've figured it out. The heft is nice and it's very solid. The handle is a little larger around than I would like. Kinda bulky but I can get my Dremel tool and customize the handle to fit my hand. I definitely like it and recommend it. It would make a great camp knife.
Loved it, the weight is distributed exactly where it needs to be. Was even able to cut through bone.
Works fantasticlying. Very happy with it. ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY.
I ordered this to slice top round. We smoke jerky quite often and needed a larger knife , when I opened the package I was quite impressed with the looks of this knife. It's balanced really well and feels great in my hand.the construction is amazing and it cuts like a knife 10 times as expensive. The seats is extremely well built. I couldn't be happier with it. Oklahoma Joe's products are first rate and of the highest quality. If your looking for a professional quality knife/clever this is it.
knife is great for working with large pieces of meat which is why I bought it.
great knife for the price
probably one of the best knives for the craftsmanship and value.
It's not a cleaver! Maybe a scimitar or a mini cutlass? It's got a significant upsweep curve. You couldn't use it effectively for chopping on a flat cutting board. Which was the use I intended. That said, it might be a worthwhile addition to your knife collection. The blade is forged with a full length tang and sturdy bolster. The handle is nice and decently finished. Out of the box, the blade was "cuts paper sharp" but not a razor. It's high quality, though mass-produced. You could make it as good as a custom with some tools and effort. Although I bought it for a cleaver, this would actually be a great choice for a breaking knife or a small butcher knife for animals turkey to deer size. I lo
I really can't give a review. It is a present for Christmas.
