When you first rub your hands together it feels like it's definitely going to hold your hair in place. . . but it's not that strong (on short hair) BUT it actually has a matte finish, no shine, unlike their "matte finish" putty which feels greasy and is shiny. I'll probably use this product until they discontinue it.

This is absolutely my favorite hair product and I get so many compliments about my hair when I use this, It's just a shame that It's not in stores anymore I would buy so much more.

Like this for short hair. My hair normally sticks up when cut too short - this holds it in place well without the shine. Very easy to use and great smell. I have tried dozens of others - this may be my favorite. Worth the try.

With it's awesome masculine smell and easiness to put on, there's really nothing I could complain about. The smell is one of the biggest factors of a hair gel, and some may not smell all that well. This hair gel is different and makes you just feel so confident when using it because of its great masculine scent — I've gotten compliments! It is also much easier to put on than other gels. I'd definitely recommend this to any man looking for some great hair gel!

Doesn't make your hair look or feel greasy. I apply sparingly to my fine hair right before brushing. It helps hold my style veey well. Literally the best hair product I've used. Mild, pleasant non-irritating smell. This product fixes all, this also has extremely matte finish to the point where i feel even if you apply larger amounts to your hair it won't be greasy at all. Has strong hold and matte finish.. great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This molding clay works good. When I want a nice slick look I use this it holds my hair into place. Its easy to smooth into your hair. I can use it on my hair or beard. It also has a nice smell to it.

It smells really good but doesnt hold longer hair on top back at all. It may work for you if your hair is much shorter or thin but not for mine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this product for a few days I didn't really like the dryness I got after working it in. It almost has TOO much of a matte finish. I have to cut it with some leave-in conditioner to balance it out.

Doesn't work well, but smells great.
